When my brother found out, he agreed. That's what hurts the most." "Oh wow. James, I'm so sorry." "Don't be. It's not your fault. But I meant what I said earlier. Go back to your house." "Fine. My name's Sophie by the way." There's a teasing glint in his eye. "And your last name?" "Foster. Sophie Foster." He smiles. "It suits you." "Thanks. Now I should find my way back. Good luck." "Thanks, you too." She blinks and he's gone. Oh well. Time to find a track. But first she see's something glittering on the sidewalk. It's a coin. For two dollars! She picks it up and walks over to an information booth she saw yesterday. Surprisingly it's open! She buys a map of the town. There's a high school track twenty minutes away. She groans slightly and starts the walk.
Twenty minutes later, she's there. There's a huge sign saying 'private property. GO AWAY'. She ignores it. There's not even a gate keeping her away. Talk about easy! She starts at the starting line and pictures Grady and Edaline's house. Her house. Then she runs. A minute later she stumbles and she's lying in alicorn manure.
