I watch Kol and Jace argue about some old story about a magical relic that I understand absolutely nothing about while I try to concentrate on an assignment on World War II, I look up at the two of them and narrowly avoid a knife.

Talia: Are you sick?

Kol: He's the one who deflected it towards you.

Jace: I didn't do it on purpose, I'm sorry.

Talia: Can you remind me what you're doing here

Already?

Kol: I'm not taking any orders from my awful brother so I'm spending time with Jace, but since he's stuck to you almost all the time you have to supported.

Talia: As long as there's no death, I'm fine.

Kol: Oh I know we're a trio now.

Jace: No Kol it's not a threesome.

Kol: Of course yes, a super wolf witch, a 100 year old wizard and me the handsome vampire who can do magic.

I look at my phone and see three missed calls from Elena, I feel like right now I can't have a normal day without bad news. I kiss Jace's cheek and go down the stairs, my mother already gone, I find a note with an omelette that I wolfed down.

"Hi princess today I'm going to New York for the meeting on antiques, remember? Of course... Actually no, I completely missed it. So you should bring this Fragile box for Carol, from an antique belonging to Lockwood. Thank you and have a nice day my dear."

I throw away the sheet and gently grab the package to put it in my car, I watch Madame Duval moan after a fast from my high school. Madame Duval is a 70 year old retiree, she has always been very kind to my mother and I, I approach her and ask her what is wrong.

He gets up and gets into his car before driving off like crazy. I turn to Madame Duval with a smile and she looks at me in shock.

Kol: You're dating a weirdo.

Jace: She's awesome. I look up towards the living room window and watch them both laugh then greet them before getting into my car towards Elena's house where Stefan arrives at the same time as me.

Talia: I missed all of Elena's calls, what happened?

Stefan: Elena killed Jeremy.

Talia: What??

Stefan: She stuck a knife in his jugular.

Talia: Why did she do that? Are Jérémy and her okay?
