I grab the suitcase full of my clothes. Erling had gone down to the house I used to share with Tayma and packed a bag full of my essentials. It's been 2 days since everything happened, and I decided today, I'd stop rotting in bed.

After dressing, I make my way downstairs, grabbing my headphones and shoving it in my bag.

"Do you want me to drop you?" Erling asks as he chugs down his last drops of coffee, offering to drive me to Uni.

"Could you? I forgot to refill my fuel." I say.

"Of course, I'll grab the keys." He replies with a bright smile as I thank him, walking out the front door.

Erling follows me out once he's grabbed his car keys as he opens the car door for me. I smile and thank him. I've felt like a burden the past 2 days, but each time I bring it up Erling looks like hes about to hit me, telling me I'm not a burden and he wants me to stay with him, as long as I'm comfortable. He's the best.

"So, Dortmund play a match today." He brings up, ending the silence. "Do you wanna come or..."

I bite the inside of my cheek, thinking. I promised I'd stop rotting in bed, I'll have to face Jude and Tayma sooner or later. "Yeah, I'll come."

"Yay! My lucky charm!" Erling cheers. "I brought you my jersey with my name and Gio's number on the back, that way you can support both of us." He says as he stops in front of my uni, reaching into the back seats of his car and grabbing a neatly folded yellow dortmund jersey.

I unfold the jersey to see the back. "Awe, that's so sweet!" I pout, folding it again and placing it nicely in my bag.

"I'll pick you up after school, we can go to the pitch together, along with Gio." He offers.

"That sounds amazing, thank you." I say as I get out the car and shut the door.

Erling rolls down the window. "I'll see you then. Take care. You've got this." He says as he holds out a fist.

I fist pump him before stepping back and allowing him to drive off after saying bye. A sigh escapes my lips as I grab my Airpod max and connect it to my phone before sliding it onto my head. Today, I'm going to lock in and finish my project. No distractions.

As soon as I arrive in class, I sit at a table with a few girls I don't usually sit with, not wanting to sit with Tayma.

"Is everything okay?" Lexi, a blonde girl, asks.

"Yeah." I nod.

"Why haven't you come to school that past 2 days." She quizzes.

"Sick." I lie.
