S3 E4

Last week was not so good. Yes the group won but Abby was completely ignoring me and she was being rude the entire week.

Is this how the other girls feel?

This is why the Mom are so mad all the time?

Now, maybe the moms will be nicer to my mom because I'm one of them?

"Come on, ladies, let's go" Abby says as we enter studio A.

"All righty. We went to Youngstown Ohio, to intensity dance; we won. We should've won. Your national champions. Let's move onto the pyramid" Abby says.

"I have Chloe. Chloe, remembering your choreography, that is what you need to work on. Write it down. Maybe if you write it out, it'll sink in. Try that" Abby says.

"Next, Nia. Nia, you don't apply the corrections. That's what you need to do. Try writing them down"

"Next, Mackenzie. Mackenzie, when I took you out of the group, I gave you this cute little part to do, and thank goodness, it was humorous, because had they started trimming our number, we would have been disqualified. And the Abby Lee Dance Company is not gonna get disqualified. You will not be in the group numbers going forward. Not until it's appropriate for you. Understood?" Abby says.

I do a sad smile to Kenz.

"And Paige. You got the featured part. You had the big jump, the tilt, what. You could have made that fabulous, but you didn't do that. You were given an opportunity, and instead of running with it, it was a mediocre"

"Next, Maddie. You were good. I notice you have the Sophia hairdo. How about we have to Sophia energy. The Sophia turns. And not worry about the hairdo" Abby says.

"Next, Kendall. You were in the front, you were given a correction a 100 times. Did you keep up with Sophia? I don't know" Abby says.

"Next, Maci. I thought you were good. But I expected better. That was your forte. You were supposed to nail that dance and you didn't. See what sitting in the car gets you. Mediocre" Abby says

I bit my lip.

"And at the top of the pyramid is Sophia. Kind of a given. She won the high score overall, nine to 11 year old, and she won the entire competition. She was the high score of the day"

"This weekend, we will be traveling to Greensboro, North Carolina. We will be attending Dance Troupe Challenge" Abby says.

" since Brooks not on the pyramid, does that mean she's not going this weekend?" Kelly ask.

"Well, Brooke, I want to know. What happened over the weekend?" Abby asked.

"Well, Friday I was here. Then went home. And then Saturday, I went to my friends house. And Sunday I worked on a project all day" Brooke says.

" so you didn't come to rehearsal Sunday?" Abby asks.

Brooke shakes her head.

"You're 14. You've been taking ballet class since you were six or seven years old" Abby says.

"But, Abby, if she's gonna do that, like, she's spent the entire week learning learning the number with this group. Why wouldn't she just go away with us and compete the number?" Kelly asks.

"That doesn't mean you don't do an dance-wise all weekend" Abby says.

"The group piece is entitled "Voyage Home". This is a very serious piece. You will be immigrants. Everybody will be in the routine but Brooke, who will be staying home, and Mackenzie" Abby says.
