I felt mortified, it was almost time for dinner and I still couldn't get the blush off my face.

When we were playing Marco Polo and I grabbed the first thing I could feel, it was Nathan's shorts! I don't know how I was capable of doing that but I couldn't look at him without blushing now.

"Daisy, you know it's not a big deal right, it's totally cool."

I just nodded at him and decided to change the topic, "I'm gonna go back to the cabin and get ready for dinner."

"Ok, hang on, I'll come with you." Gaby replied. I was pretty grateful because I wasn't sure if I could remember how to get back. We said bye to the boys and quietly made our way back.

"You know I haven't seen Nathan smile like that in a long time."

"Oh. He must really like swimming or something." I replied feeling a little uncomfortable at what she might be hinting at.

"Come on, Daisy you're not blind, you have to see the way he looks at you."

"No! We're just getting to know each other, no big deal."

"Ok, we'll see what happens at dinner and the bonfire then." I nodded as we reached our cabin. We agreed on who would shower first and she forced me to go first so that she could pick out my outfit to wear later. I finally agreed and made sure I washed off all the lake water from my body. When I was done, I walked out with a towel wrapped around me.

"Oh good! You're out, I was starting to feel gross, go put on the clothes that are on your bed." Gaby commanded and before I could even say anything back she was already in the shower turning the water on. I walked over to the bed and I frowned.

"Hey Gaby, this isn't my dress or my shoes!" I called out to her.

"I know! They're mine, you're the same size as me I checked!" She yelled back. "And yes, you have to wear it!" She said answering my silent question.

I decided I might as well because it was a pretty cute outfit, there was a plain white dress with pink wedges. I was just putting on the shoes when she came out.

"Oh my gosh, you look great already! Jeez look at those legs, I wish I had long legs like those!" I blushed and murmured "Thanks, but isn't this a bit much just for dinner?"

"Nope. Everyone dresses up the first night because we all try to impress each other right before school starts."

"Oh, ok. So what are you gonna wear?"

"Actually I couldn't help but notice this really cute skirt you had, do you mind if I borrow it?"

I laughed, "No of course not, go ahead."

But she was already taking out my black and white striped skirt and I knew it would look great on her, she matched it with a plain black shirt but she made it look hot.

"Come on, let's do our hair and make-up and go." Before I could even agree she was spraying something into my hair and I was laughing because she seemed to do things before she got answers.

"Your hair is so pretty curly, I'm gonna leave it natural, ok?" I nodded unsure but she pinned a few pieces back and put in a delicate looking headband. "There perfect, now just a touch of eyeliner and mascara and lip gloss and voila!" She exclaimed. I looked in the mirror and was kind of surprised that I looked nice without trying too hard. I helped her straighten her hair and apply her own make-up and soon enough we were finally walking to the mess hall.
It looked like the mess hall but it was decorated and there were candles everyone and sure enough everyone was dressed up. As we walked in people paused in their conversations and looked at us whispering to each other.

"Um..." I was feeling hella nervous, but Gaby linked arms with me and chirped "It's okay, they're just jealous cuz you look hot."

I couldn't help but laugh as she led me over to where Cam was sitting. "Hey everyone, as all of you probably know this is Daisy, she's my roomie!"

My eyes widened as they rested on the last person I would've expected to see, blood rushed to my cheeks and I felt restless as our eyes locked.

"Daisy was it? I'm Blake." He murmured. I couldn't help but stare at him, nothing had changed, he was just as attractive with his dark hair and gray eyes. I was confused why he didn't just tell everyone he knew me already...very personally. But I quickly looked away when I heard someone clear their throat;

"And I'm Jeremy" another guy with brown hair and hazel eyes said smiling at me. I couldn't help but smile back he seemed really sweet.

"And that's Amy" Gaby continued pointing to a girl with short brown hair and freckles across her nose and cheeks.

"Hey! I was gonna introduce myself, no fair Gaby."

Gaby stuck out her tongue, "you love me"

"yea, yea" Amy said back rolling her eyes playfully. I smiled at their antics and was about to say something when I felt someone come up behind me. Judging by the self satisfied grin on Gaby's face, I knew it could only be one person.
