THE DEATH OF LILITH JADE HAS YET to be forgotten. Not by the Order, not by the residents of Safe Haven— most certainly not by the gods.

Almost a year passed— and everything just went downhill right after the death of the purest soul. Nico has long left Safe Haven— undetected to everyone including his own father. His need to avenge his sister consumed him, and he wanted to be the one to end it all.

Because maybe then— just maybe, he would end up dead. Then he'd be reunited with his family.

But he suffered a fate worse than death, trapped in Tartarus and now kidnapped by the giants. With the rest of the eight trying to save him, that left the remaining three champions. Not long after Nico went missing, Annabeth came to Safe Haven— convinced that Ethan Nakamura was one of the nine demigods.

The last one was Lilith— but she was dead.

Out of the three champions— only one was found. Cedric Diggory. The last two still remain a mystery.

But everything was going so wrong, and everyone could see it. It was obvious that they were struggling to stop Gaia's rising. Without Lilith— they were hopeless. The end was near, and everyone could feel it. It was just a matter of when.

Their last resort was to bring everyone else to safety, in Safe Haven— but even then, they could only save the kids in camp and the demigods.

The witches and wizards— well, things were not going well with them.

After Lilith's death, Hecate refused to give any of them back their magic. The Dark Lord resorted to going into hiding along with his followers— and everyone else was forced to only study theoretically.

It was like the whole Wizarding World stopped working.

Talks of shutting down Hogwarts had been made— but the Order (Dumbledore) still had hope that Hecate would eventually get over Lilith's death and return their magic. But the chance of that happening was highly unlikely.

And they could all tell something was going horribly wrong outside the Wizarding World. Catastrophic events everywhere— a possible war breaking out within the muggle world. (That was Ares' doing)

The gods each took out their grief and anger in their own ways. They could tell.

The freak storms and tsunamis— that was Poseidon. The god adored his niece, even when he wasn't as close as the others were. But her death affected everyone, including his son.

The terrible weather for the past year, thunder rumbling and multiple thunderstorms— that was Zeus. He was more so pissed that his potential champion was dead, not to mention how Lilith was basically their only hope to stop Gaia.

A war was breaking out everywhere. The muggles, fed by paranoia and anxiety from everything that had been happening, the Wizarding World between the dark and light sectors— not to mention the government of each continent— were fighting about their lack of magic. Then of course, the war brewing within the world of the gods. Obviously, that was Ares' doing.

Then of course, Hecate with her anger towards the wizards and witches. She was not willing to give their magic back any time soon— perhaps, ever.

Hermes took his grief and anger out by halting his job. That was chaotic, considering he was the god of a lot of things. The roads were messed up, people traveling and getting lost— the language barrier getting worse.
