The next morning, Savitri woke up early, thinking about Arjun's birthday. She decided to go to the temple to pray for his happiness.
Carrying a puja thali filled with diyas, Savitri hurried into the temple courtyard. But as she walked, she accidentally bumped into someone. Startled, she dropped the thali, and the items scattered loudly on the ground.
Looking up, Savitri's heart sank when she saw Prisha standing in front of her. They had not seen each other in years, and Savitri couldn't hide her dislike for her.
"Savitri aunty," Prisha reaching out to help gather the scattered items.
Savitri's expression hardened. She did not say anything, her eyes fixed on Prisha with clear disapproval.
As they both bent down to pick up the items. She couldn't forget how much Prisha had hurt Arjun in the past. The encounter brought back those painful memories.
Prisha, sensing Savitri's coldness, kept quiet and took her hand back "I am sorry, Savitri aunty. It was my fault."
Savitri replied sharply, "Just be more careful next time."
Savitri gathered all her items and walked towards Panditji"Panditji, today I am here to pray for my son's happiness and for his upcoming marriage," she said loudly, making sure Prisha could clearly hear her words
Prisha startled when she felt someone's arm on her shoulder. As she turned around, she found her husband standing there. "What happened, sweetheart" he asked
"Kuch nahi," Prisha replied softly, shaking off her thoughts. They walked downstairs together. They were here for her husband's success. Today, they had an important deal. They were already facing huge losses in business, and if they lost this deal, they would be bankrupt.
Prisha paced nervously in her room, her thoughts consumed by worry. She feared her husband might lose the crucial deal they were counting on. Checking her phone repeatedly for updates, she couldn't help but compare his abilities to Arjun's, knowing how skilled he was in business and her husband would definitely lose infront of him and that thought was eating her up
Hours passed like an eternity for Prisha. Finally, a message flashed on her phone screen-an update from Shekar. With trembling hands, she opened the message. Her heart sank as she read the words: they had lost the deal to Arjun.
After all the members left the meeting room, Shekar stood there. "Tch-tch-tch, Mr. Shekar, after working so hard, you lost the deal," Arjun said with a smirk on his face.
"I won't leave you, bastard," Shekar said, and was about to punch him when Arjun held his hand.
"There is more to come, Mr. Shekar. Be prepared for the worst. You are already on the verge of bankruptcy. Be prepared for more outcomes," Arjun said and pushed him, while Shekar punched the nearby wall in anger. He wouldn't let Arjun win.
Arjun was happy that he had finally won the deal he had worked so hard for. As he stepped inside his house, he noticed everything was dark. "Ma" he called out, but there was no response. Moving cautiously, he stumbled, and suddenly, all the lights came on.
To his surprise, everyone shouted, "Happy birthday" In front of him stood Riddhima's family and his own mother, with Riddhima holding a cake in her hands.
Arjun's mother moved towards him and enveloped him in a warm hug. "Happy birthday, Baccha, and congratulations for the deal," she said affectionately, kissing his forehead. Arjun smiled gratefully.
Later, as they gathered around the birthday cake, Arjun took the first slice and fed it to his mother, her eyes shining with love and pride. With a gentle nudge from his mother, Arjun turned to Riddhima, who blushed deeply as he offered her a bite of cake.
