Maxi sighed, feeling the weight of his decision. "I'm excited, of course. It's something I've always dreamed of. But I'm also worried about leaving you both behind. You've been such an important part of my life, and I don't want to hurt either of you."

Kate reached out and took Maxi's hand. "Maxi, this is your dream. You have to go for it. We'll be okay. It's not like you'll be gone forever, right?" Cla smiled, though there was a hint of sadness in her eyes. "Kate's right, Maxi. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. We'll miss you, but we want you to follow your dreams. We can stay in touch, and who knows, maybe we'll visit you."

Maxi felt a surge of gratitude for their support. "Thank you, both of you. I don't know what I'd do without you." The next few weeks were a whirlwind of preparations. Maxi spent as much time as possible with Cla and Kate, cherishing every moment. They went on hikes, had movie nights, and even organized a small farewell party with their closest friends. The day of Maxi's departure arrived all too quickly. At the airport, Cla and Kate stood by his side, their emotions a mixture of pride, sadness, and hope.

"Promise you'll keep in touch," Cla said, hugging him tightly. Maxi nodded, holding her close. "I will. I'll miss you." Kate hugged him next, her eyes shimmering with unshed tears. "Go out there and show them what you're made of, Maxi. We'll be cheering for you." Maxi boarded the plane with a heavy heart but also with a sense of purpose. He knew that this opportunity was a stepping stone to his dreams, and the support of Cla and Kate gave him the strength to embrace the future.
