Mingyu woke up to the sound of the alarm, groaning as he tried to lift a hand to silence it. He realized a heavy weight was on his bicep. Disorientated and half asleep, after a few lazy attempts to dislodge whatever was on his arm, he rolled his body and shut the alarm with his other hand. Half his body was now resting over this lump under the blankets, the very thing that was pinning his arm to the bed.
Opening his sleepy eyes, he yawned and rolled onto his back, sunlight beaming through the gaps in the blinds slowly waking him up. A few seconds later he tilted his head and was stunned by ruffled, ashy blonde hair against his shoulder.
Why was Wonwoo here?
Mingyu panicked for exactly 2.5 seconds before the events of last night came rushing back – Wonwoo crying. Once he had calmed down, Mingyu felt helpless and lost as Wonwoo wiped his eyes and tried to compose himself. Mingyu couldn't leave him on the couch alone, not when Wonwoo seemed so vulnerable.
He just couldn't.
Mingyu offered Wonwoo the bed and, he had been rather nervous and awkward sliding under the covers next to him, but something about the way Wonwoo fitted so perfectly against his body was oddly satisfying.
Even weirder, Mingyu was not a cuddle person in bed. He was a blanket hog and liked to spread out and take up as much space as physically possible, whilst Wonwoo was honestly a human koala – still, for some reason he didn't really mind.
And also, Wonwoo smelt nice.
Mingyu blushed hard at that thought. That is such an awkward feature to notice.
But really, Wonwoo smelt like vanilla, and lavender, all things warm and soothing. Mingyu had been lulled to sleep, and the smell brought back a wave of nostalgia and memories of giggles and hushed whispers and promises of forever.
Maybe ten minutes later, Wonwoo stirred. Mingyu realized Wonwoo was the type of person who woke up really, really slowly. He rubbed his eyes, made a soft moan in the back of his throat as he pressed his face into Mingyu's neck and –
Oh fuck.
Wonwoo kissed him.
Mingyu tensed and his eyes went wide as Wonwoo sleepily clung closer to him. Wonwoo's knee brushed across Mingyu and Mingyu realized with mortification that he had morning wood. And Wonwoo rubbing his knee against it and making quite adorable sounds was certainly not helping.
What should I do?
"Morning," Wonwoo mumbled, voice cracked and raspy. He raised his head lethargically, eyes still shut, and pressed another soft kiss against Mingyu's cheek.
This time, Mingyu's body relaxed against Wonwoo's lips and he tilted his chin, gaze falling on those gorgeous, plump lips (Mingyu felt himself harden a little and the very, very dirty side of him – he was a horny teenager after all - wondered what it would look like stretched around his cock). Wonwoo's mouth moved down his jaw and kissed him again, close to Mingyu's own lips which had parted.
This is actually not such a bad way to wake up...
"Oh, my god," Wonwoo snapped back and Mingyu felt disappointment flood his body as his erection throbbed. Wonwoo was now wide awake and looking downright terrified. "I'm so – I didn't realize – I thought –"
"You thought I was your Mingyu," Mingyu said in a tone that came out surprisingly bitter. He was frankly starting to get a bit annoyed with the whole 'my Mingyu' ordeal.
Wonwoo meekly looked down. "Y-yeah. Sorry."
Mingyu sat up and sighed, keeping the blanket over the lower half of his body. "It's okay."
