A few days later, Felix was sitting again on the same barstool in front of the pub counter, sipping drinks on and on while waiting for his best friend to come. It was a bit too hot inside there. Even if perhaps it wasn't the place, but just the fact that the images of Hyunjin moving his perfect body on stage lingered in his brain, replaying over and over. His muscles stretching under the coloured neon at the slightest movement were one of the most erotic visions he had ever had. His soft and long hair, almost drenched in sweat, fluidly flying around whenever he moved his head. His whole body following the music flow and his tapered hands grabbing his own clothes, slowly pulling off any garment, one after another, until he was wearing only succinct shorts. The way his body formed the most perfect curves when he moved, so powerful yet so elegant. Toned but not too prominent muscles brightly glistening under his sweat. He was the incarnation of art and lust. So beautiful that the eyes always needed more, as if they couldn't separate from his perfect figure. But also so sexy it was impossible to not find him the most attractive person on earth. Everything of what he was doing while dancing suggested the most lascivious scenery and it came just so natural that neither Felix could stop thinking about it. He was just overwhelmed by his beauty, but aside from the fact Hyunjin was hot as fuck, the blond was also mesmerized from his dark eyes, so dark it was impossible to read anything in them. They carried an incredible aura of power, something that he never witnessed on his face before meeting him in that club. That power only dissolved in the way he gently caressed himself, as if he was silently asking to be touched by the same gentleness and care. And something inside Felix desired to do it so bad.

The blond was completely absorbed in his thoughts at a certain point, so much that he only regained consciousness when he saw the stripper pick up a flower from the stage. It was a pretty red rose someone must've thrown at him. He grinned gently, just curving his lips in an almost imperceptible smile, while scenting the flower's perfume. And then he just bowed down and dissolved behind the stage. The only thing that saved him from overthinking at that point was his best friend who just arrived on time.

During the past few weeks, Chris had to face Felix surprisingly proposing to accompany him at the club instead of having to beg for the blond to come with him. Of course, the older boy knew extremely well that if Felix had changed his mind, it wasn't really because he finally found enjoyment in the parties, but because of that person he happened to know. But Chris didn't mind what the reason was, he was just happy to have the chance of getting to talk with his best friend more while going and coming back from the club and also having his company during his break times. It was a good deal since Changbin took a month off and Minho spent most of the time at the club with his boyfriend Jisung when they had breaks from work, so he had to rely on Felix's presence anyway and that was more than enough for him to be happy. When Christopher reached again for Felix at the bar area, the stripper's performance had just finished. He patted his best friend shoulder with a soft smile plastered on his face, which instantly enlightened the blond man's face.

« Still here...? » Chris asked rhetorically, as if the evidence of having him there wasn't enough.

Felix smiled back at him with a soft but melancholic stare in his eyes. His mind was full of reminiscences of the times he used to sneak a look at Hyunjin back when he could see him out of that club. Of course, he could only look at him from the distance, but things didn't change much anyway. He was still distant, maybe even more. He couldn't talk with him anyway, aside from that brief conversation they had last time that didn't go well at all. And he was definitely more content when he could look at the brunette without being hyper-conscious of the hundreds or maybe even thousands eyes devouring him at the same time. He couldn't stop thinking at why Hyunjin was there and why he had to meet him there of all places.

Felix could never boast a good self-esteem. Probably due to the fact that his parents never recognised him for anything he did in life and always spoke of him as a failure. He always tried his best to show off his skills in whatever he did, at least to his friends, as well as trying to impress people he just met with his fairly good appearance and his conversational skills. But apart from showing off he didn't really believe in any of those, nor in his attractive handsomeness and neither in his being effortlessly talkative when interested in a topic, so effortlessly he thought he actually annoyed people. He often acted full of himself, but in reality, he was just covering up for his lack of self-esteem, and no one was able to change it. Only Chris and Minho probably knew about that truth and only because they understood it by themselves. There was no way Felix would have ever told them something similar.
