A few days later
Soobin was staying after school in the library to study for a test, but he couldn't focus. He was super excited for this trip. He'd watched abunch of tv shows about friends doing big vacations like this, but he's never had the chance to. Now though, he had the perfect friends to go with, plus Yeonjun. Speaking of him, Soobin was thinking of telling him that they shouldn't do anything during the trip, if they tried anything they'd get probably get caught. But that was also something Soobin liked and they'd probably end up messing around anyway. Or this trip could be a chance for us to go on a date, we could lie to the group and have chances to do whatever, or not and keep it romantic. It was a thought that slipped out, it made him blush. He really couldn't date Yeonjun, Yeonjun isn't ready, what they have now will have to do.

"SOOBINIE!!" A high voice and a big pair of hands scared him from behind.

"KAI KAMMAL HUENING YOU SHITHEAD!!!"
Soobin screamed, jumping from his spot and earning a bunch of stares and shushes. He cleared his throat watching Hueningkai try to muffle his laugh.

"You're so lucky we are in public right now!" Soobin whisper shouted, sitting back down. Hueningkai sat next to him and smiled.

"I wish you could've seen your face!" He held his stomach giggling. Soobin hit his side and looked away, still kind of pouting from thinking about Yeonjun.

"You're so emo and mysterious these days, why don't you try to lighten up?" Kai moved to look at Soobin, once he made eye contact with Soobin, the talker frowned.

"I'm not emo, I'm just worried." Soobin sighed.

"About what?" Hemingway finally sat down.

"That's the thing I can't tell you! I can't tell anyone! And I wish I could because, shit I have ALOT to say about it. But in order to protect someone I have to stay quie-"

"OMG ARE YOU DATING SOME MAFIA MEMBER??? OOOH OR ONE OF OURS SIBLINGS??!? IT BETTER NOT BE ONE OF MY SISTERS!! OR OR OR OOO YOUR DATING ONE OF THE TEACHERSSSS!!! OR ITS SOMEONE IN THE FRIEND GROUP, IS IT-" he stood back up excited.

"Lay off the damn fanfics will you!! I'm not dating anybody!!! You're 21 for christ sakes, not some horny 13 year old!! " Soobin whisper shouted and hit him in the back off the head, light heartily of course. Hueningkai frowned.

"Look, it's a possibility!! Also not only horny 13 year olds read fanfics Soobin." He rolled his eyes.

"Yeah, I guess horny 21 year olds do too." Soobin joked.

"You're so mean." Hueningkai pretended to be offended facing the other direction and pouting.

"Well my study was ruined, wanna go get some boba tea now?" Soobin shut his book.

"YESS LETS GO!" Kai yelled earning more shushes.

They made it to a place and sat down. Ordering their drinks.

"You know Soobin, you and Yeonjun have been very to yourself lately, don't you think it's a bit strange?" Kai said as he poked some pearls with his straw.

"He's still very worried about hanging out with you guys after shutting us all out. He just needs time. He still even has his moments with me."

"You can't baby him all the time, he has to grown on his own too."

"I know, but I can't help it. Anytime I look t him I... I only see the Yeonjun who came to my house crying after breaking up with a boy he fought with me about over and over again. All I can remember is holding him while he sobbed in my arms for hours, hating himself, tearing himself apart, and all I wanna do when I see that is hold him and tell him how much he matters... I know I sound stupid, I'm sorry." Hueningkai stared at Soobin with a raised eyebrow. Quickly fixing his look when Soobin looked at him.
