"Did something happen between you and Hanbin last night?" Hao asked you at breakfast.

You skipped all the drinking and socialising and went straight back to your room after you came back from the beach the night before. You desperately needed some personal space and didn't want to talk to anyone at all. Luckily, none of your roommates were in the room. A mix of emotions overwhelmed you. Your heart raced and clenched, reliving the moment when Hanbin leaned in to kiss you. Your heart yearned for him, but your head told you to turn away, and you did.

You didn't give Hao an answer, but your weary and swollen eyes already gave you away.

You avoided Hanbin the whole day. You could feel his gaze on you throughout the day, but you did not have the courage to even glance at him.

It was karaoke night. As the night went on, people started gravitating towards drinking games and stopped singing, only keeping the music in the background.

Taerae, who noticed that you had been staying quiet throughout the night, handed you the remote control.

"We can't end the night without hearing our ace sing." He flattered you.

"Says you, Taerae." You took the remote nonetheless, but you couldn't decide what to sing. You passed the remote to Hao, who was sitting next to you, so he could also pick out a few songs to sing while you flipped through the songbook for some ideas. When a song finally caught your eye, you asked Hao to reserve the song for you. He put your song at the start of the queue, catching you by surprise when it came up much sooner than you expected. He passed you the mic and gave you a silent cheer. Most people in the room were minding their own business, which allowed you to sing without feeling burdened.
