'My feet are cold, my head hurts and I'm hungry,' I thought walking through the cold snow. I hated it, I hated how useless and alone I felt. Snow was the only thing you could see for miles. I hated feeling useless ever since my parents stopped paying attention to me and when they did it was just to tell me how useless I was or that I should just leave.

Akaza POV:

Master Muzan had sent me on another stupid mission to try and find the blue spider lily. 'This is stupid' I thought to myself until I smelled a human. I continued to walk until I saw an .... 8-looking year old? 'What a stupid child being out here in the cold'.

"Tch Useless humans"

I whisper to myself as I go closer only to notice he is kinda cute (not a ship you nasty mfs).
'Muzan has been needing someone to spy on the hashiras, maybe he could do it!?'

I walk over to the kid and kneel down ....

Tanjiro Pov:

Black fades away as I slowly wake up
'That stupid dream again' It wasn't even like the dream was bad I had been getting that dream for a few nights now.. maybe I just missed my family

Suddenly I was knocked out of my thoughts by a loud crash

But I was the only one who heard it because few miles away.. 'perks of being a demon I guess'

Then it hit me the smell of blood this was bad especially since I was a demon

I had to control it I was temporarily staying in the mist hashira estate due to a demon attack and I couldn't risk waking anyone up

It was quite easy controlling my hunger.. until it wasn't

My hunger took over and before I knew it I was running through the forest until I was where I smelt the blood.....
