The days following our kiss in the closet were a whirlwind of confusion and excitement. Sunghoon and I hadn't talked about it, but I could feel a shift between us. His nonchalant demeanor was as impenetrable as ever, and I found myself constantly analyzing every little interaction for some hint of his feelings.

One afternoon, I was in the library, struggling to focus on my notes. The memory of our kiss kept replaying in my mind, distracting me. Just then, Sunghoon walked in, his usual confident stride drawing the attention of several students.

"Hey, Eunju," he said, sliding into the seat across from me. "Mind if I join you?"

"Sure," I replied, trying to keep my voice steady. "What's up?"

He shrugged, his expression cool and collected. "Just thought I'd catch up on some studying. How's it going?"

"It's... going," I said with a forced laugh, trying to mask my nervousness.

We settled into a comfortable silence, the only sounds being the rustling of pages and the occasional whisper from other students. I could feel the warmth of his presence, the slight brush of his knee against mine under the table sending little shivers down my spine.

"So, how's your week been?" he asked casually, not looking up from his notes.

"Pretty good," I replied, my heart racing. "Yours?"

"Busy," he said, his eyes still on his textbook. "But, you know, the usual."

The conversation was light, almost superficial, but the tension between us was palpable. I wanted to ask him about the kiss, to know what it meant, but I couldn't find the courage.

After an hour of studying in silence, Sunghoon stretched and glanced at his phone. "I need a break. Want to grab a coffee?"

"Sure," I agreed, grateful for the distraction.

We walked to the campus café, the silence between us both comforting and nerve-wracking. As we waited in line, I couldn't help but steal glances at him, trying to read his expression. But Sunghoon was as unreadable as ever, his face a mask of calm confidence.

"So," he said as we sat down with our drinks. "Have you thought about what happened at the party?"

My heart skipped a beat. "Yeah, I have. A lot, actually."

He took a sip of his coffee, his gaze steady. "And?"

I hesitated, choosing my words carefully. "I'm just not sure what it means. For us, I mean."

He leaned back, his expression thoughtful. "I guess it means we have something to figure out. No rush, though."

His nonchalance was both reassuring and frustrating. I wanted to know what he was thinking, but I also appreciated that he wasn't pushing me for answers.

"Yeah, I guess so," I said, forcing a smile.

We talked about other things after that, the conversation flowing more easily. We shared stories about our classes, laughed about our friends, and for a while, it felt like things were back to normal. But the memory of that kiss lingered in the back of my mind, an unresolved question hanging between us.

That evening, as I was getting ready for bed, my phone buzzed with a message from Sunghoon.

Hey, are you free tomorrow afternoon? We need to finish our group project. - Sunghoon

I replied quickly, my heart racing.

Yeah, I'm free. Library at 3? – Eunju

Perfect. See you then. – Sunghoon
