Nolan got startled by the quick reply. "Well, that... was quick." he mumbled to himself as he kept strolling to his house.

Nolan entered the Crimson Cafe, which he's stepping foot in for the first time, and sat at a table for two people. "It's late at night, it's weird for him to be free.. I kinda assumed he'd be busy. I suppose not." He thought to himself, observing the Cafe. It held true to its name; Crimson. It had a soft red color as its walls, and snowflake designs as it's main theme. He glanced at the Menu. Coffee, Coke, whatever you can think of as drinks, nothing too fancy or something that catches the eye. Though the desserts did have a weird name, such as... The red in a dark night. Velvet cake, bitter chocolate, caramel sauce, oreo flavoured cream all in a dessert cup. It looked like every one of these dessert, one way or another, had red in it.

A waiter approached him. "Hello, sir. Have you-" "I'm waiting for someone." Nolan cut the waiter off. The waiter nodded and left. Not long after, Yael stepped in, glancing around. Yael thought to himself, "Where...? I don't know how he looks like..." Nolan perked up from the menu and waved to grab Yaels attention. Yael turned his way and his expression showed evidence of his realization, as if he said "Oh!" the moment he saw Nolan. Yael quickly walked towards him and sat across, before starting to talk. "Hey. Shall we get to the point?" He smiled, glancing at the menu then back at Nolan. Nolan nodded, starting to talk. "Yes. That woman you described doesn't seem to be one of our members." Nolan said, Yael's expression having a glimpse of suspicion. Nolan noticed the suspicion in his expression, but continued anyways. "I talked with my boss and told him of the part you shared in the mission given to me. I'm sure you remember." Yael let out a hum, as if trying to recall. "Ah, the one at the back stage? With the guy?" Nolan nodded. "Yes. My boss is interested in your abilities. We were wondering-" "No." "Huh?" A moment of silence occured before Yael spoke once more. "Bold of you to assume I'd say yes to such a request. My thoughts still say that woman was one of you, so I can't quite..." Yael chuckled before continuing. "I can't quite trust you. Nor whatever group you have. You're rushing to things here, we only met a week ago, yet here you are, trying to have me walk right into your trap, right?" Nolan was dumbfounded; He knew it was going to be misunderstood, he just had a gut feeling about it, but to be misunderstood to this extent wasn't something he planned for. "I'm sorry? You approached me in the first place, Not I. If i had set a trap, i would've approached you first, not the other way around. And I'm telling you, we have no idea who the woman-" Clank. Yael threw a badge on the table and shifted his gaze betwee the badge and Nolan. "This symbol. Your groups, right?" Yael smirked while Nolan looked down at the badge. It really was theirs. The one that only the insiders know, too, given that they have two; one shown to public, other for the insiders. He quickly reached for the badge, but before he could, Yael yoinked it away. "Ah-ah-ah. Not so fast. As you were saying, that woman... Mhm. That badge fell from her when she ran away. Care to explain? I won't blame you though, maybe you really don't have someone that matches what i said. Big chance the woman might've used wig or contact lenses or something to hide her identity." Nolan stared at Yael, thinking. "...I don't know anything about it." Yael let out a snort, shaking his head  "Of course you don't. You don't know anything, do you?" Nolan sighed, his patience running thin. "I'm telling you, I haven't a clue." Yael kept quiet. He must be thinking to himself, *damn this guy is fun to tease,* while Nolan was getting worked up. The silence was cut off by Nolan this time, "Listen. At least meet our boss. I don't wanna go back empty-handed." ...like i always do. Nolan completed the sentence in his head. Yael let out a thoughtful hum, placing a hand on his chin, his elbow on the table. "Hmmm. But why should i care?" "Gosh, come on! It won't even take 10 minutes, yet you're making such a fuss out of it!" Nolan slightly raised his voice, but not too much to not draw everyones gaze on them. Yael smiled, letting out another hum yet again. "Okay. When?" Yael asked, Nolans eyes slightly widened in surprise. All the talk, the shit he said, just for him to go along with it the moment he asks again? Gosh, this guy is annoying, Nolan thought. "Tomorrow morning works just fine. Around 8 AM. I'll text you." Nolan answered. Yael nodded, a teasing smile on his face. "Let's have a drink, hm? It's on me." Yael spoke, calling over the waiter. "One caramel latte, and..." "Root beer." Yael said first, then Nolan. The waiter nodded and left. "I can pick you up from your house if you want." Yael added, looking at Nolan. Their drinks arrived fairly quickly, being placed in front of them. "It's fine, no need." Nolan answered. Yael stretched, sipping his coffee, same with Nolan with his root beer. "How far is your house from the workplace anyways?" Yael asked in a laid back tone. "It takes me 30 minutes to walk there." Nolan answered, Yael almost spiting his coffee out, his eyes widened. "30 minutes?! Of walking?! Are you serious? Oh no no no, I'm picking you up from your place for sure. No objections." Yael spoke in a stern tone. Nolan sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose as he looked down at his beer. "Sure. Do as you please." Nolan answered, tired of Yaels bullshit already. Yael clapped his hands in victory, smiling. "Alright then. Oh and, how long has it been since you came to this universe? I've been wondering this." Yael asked. Nolan looked up from his beer, his curiousity piqued. "I don't know. 3 weeks at most." Nolan answered, Yael nodding in acknowledgement. "Hmmm. I see. Here's your late welcome then." Yael clanked his glass with Nolans, smiling as he had a big sip of his coffee, Nolan doing the same with his beer.

"I was disappointed when i realized you didn't stay to watch the concert. You got in free after all." Yael spoke, sighing afterwards. Nolan stayed quiet as a response. "But oh well. It's kind of silly." He grabbed his glass of coffee and swirled it around. A girl then approached their table. "Um.. Sir Yael, right? Could i have your autograph, please? On this shirt.." The girl said as she extended the shirt in hand to Yael. Yael smiled and got a marker out, signing the shirt. The girl squeaked in happiness, thanked him and left. "Must be nice having fans. It's like one big family." Nolan spoke, Yael turning to him with curiousness. "Sorta. You could say so, but at the same time not exactly. I got drugged several times, and then there's these oddly *specific women* (hinting to the woman that attacked him) that come at you but... As i said, sorta. It's nice to receive love." Yael said, half chuckling. Nolan nodded, chugging the last bit of his beer and standing up. "I'll bid you farewell for tonight. Thanks for the drink." Yael nodded with a smile, standing up aswell and getting his wallet out. "Yeah."

"You're welcome."
