When school was ending Tasia was outside the school waiting on the bus. She had seen Taraji glance at her on the way out. "Damn that girl is so beau- " someone bumped into her harshly. Fantasia look at them "Get out of my way you ugly bitch" Zuri said walking past her. Fantasia tried to remain call as she was going to yank Zuri's braids.
Fantasia just ignored her when she seen the bus pull up. She had got on the bus and went to the very back in the corner so no one would bother her. The bus had started when everyone was on it. Fantasia just stared out the window.
She was thinking, and realized she needed to text raji. "Ok I need to send Taraji a text like right now.
Taraji☺️- I'll be home in a min, pick me up at 9. My dad usually leaves at 6 and comes back around midnight so that'll give me and you enough time. My address is ******** see you laterrrr.
Fantasia has arrived at her house. Walking up to her door step shaking a little bit from fear. Hoping she doesn't see her dad. She grabbed into her bag grabbed her keys and unlocked the door.
Surprisingly her dad wasn't there. She had ran inside and locked the door. "How come he ain't here? Don't know so thank you Jesus" she sighed. She walked to the kitchen to try and find something to eat.
"Man we don't got shit up in here, it's all some damn beer" she said annoyingly. She just headed upstairs and started packing everything she needed.
She was still packing when she seen a text from Taraji.
-Hey look i'm on the way to come get you now.
Fantasia looked at the time and seen that it was 8:47pm. " Shit she on the way, and I don't even got everything I need." 10 minutes later Fantasia heard a knock on the door. She had went downstairs with her suitcase. She opened the door assuming it was raji. She looked up and seen her dad.
"D-Dad what are you doing here?" Fantasia asked " I came back early from the bar and why the fuck do you have a suitcase?"
"I-I don't kno-" He had pushed her on the floor and her head hit the floor hard but not to hard where she blacked out.
He just walked over her "Stupid ass little girl, pathetic" he said. He walked to the kitchen and grabbed a beer from the fridge. Forgetting he left the door opened. He plopped on the couch and watched tv.
Fantasia was just laying on the floor when she seen someone walk through the door. it was Taraji, Taraji looked at Fantasia and Mouthed "Are you okay?" and fantasia replied "Yes"
Taraji walked towards Joe (Fantasias dad) She wrapped her arm around his neck and strangled him till he passed out.
"Cmon Fantasia let's go, I'll take your suitcase just walk to the car" Fantasia got up from the floor and just looked at her dad one last time. knowing it was gonna be a while till she saw him again.
Taraji had put fantasias suitcase in the back of her car. Fantasia had gotten in the car. They sat there in a moment of silence before Taraji pulled off. "Thank you T, for helping me out" she said breaking the silence.
"You needed it. Even tho i wasn't there for the whole thing, i know your shit was tuff" Taraji said. Fantasia just stared at her while she was driving.
Taraji glanced at Fantasia but continued driving. "Stop looking at me weirdo" Taraji said in a playful way. Fantasia looked away. Taraji heard Fantasia's stomach growl. "Did you eat anything tasia?"
" I haven't actually eaten in two days" Fantasia answered. "Ima order something, what you want?" "Anything at this point i'm just hungry as hell" Fantasia said " Okay ima order some wings" taraji said.
After 30 mins they arrived to Taraji's apartment. Taraji grabbed Fantasia's suitcase, until Fantasia took it from her. "I can get my own suitcase T you already did enough"
"Well this is it" as Taraji unlocked her door. " I know it's not much but I hope you can get used to this living space lol" It was a perfect size, it definitely felt cozy and looked like home.
" Oh this is more than enough thank you T" fantasia said. "Well let me take you to the guest room" Taraji said, leading Fantasia to the guest room.
"This is better than the room I got back home" As Fantasia said in amazement "You can call this your home now tasia, you can stay here as long as you please"
"Thank you T im finna get real comfortable lol" both of them giggled. " Well go ahead and unpack and make yourself at home ,ima go change and the food should be here in a lil bit" Taraji said. " okay"
Fantasia unpacked her stuff and changed into her pajamas. Fantasia walked out her room into the living room. When she seen taraji on the couch watching Tv she had decided to join her.
" Hey girly!" Taraji said looking up at her. "Hey T what you up to" Tasia said "Nothing really just watching a movie" " Oh okay well i-" her sentence was interrupted by a knock on the door.
"That must be the food" Taraji smiled and got up to get it. "Order for Henson?" The man said holding a wings stop bag in his hand. "Yes that's me thank you sir." She said with a smile. "Have a good night" The man said walking away.
Taraji walked to the living room and sat the food down on the coffee table in front of them. "okay here's your food and here is my food" Taraji said. Fantasia just digging in her food.
"So are you not gonna say your grace" taraji side eyed her and smirked, " Oops my bad T" Fantasia said with sauce on her mouth and hands. They bowed their head and closed their eyes.
After Taraji got done saying grace they had eaten their food and chatted for a bit. After a while Fantasia and Taraji were full so they put there trash in the bag and put it in the trash, and walked back to the couch.
"Thank you T for the food, I haven't ate some real food in a while." Fantasia said staring at Taraji. " Yes ofc Tasia anything for a best friend right?" Fantasia never heard anyone call them there best friend before. So, she just smiled "That's right" she answered with a huge smile.
"You have a beautiful smile Tasia I don't know why you don't do it" Taraji said " Why should I T? I mean you've seen the shit I been through and expect me to smile? I'm tired of looking the way i look, but thank you" Fantasia said " Yea your welcome, Next weekend we can do a little makeover if you want that?" Taraji suggested, "That would be nice T ,thank you" Fantasia smiled, " Ofc, it's kinda getting late tho so i'm gonna head to bed, give me a hug"
"Okay good night T" Fantasia said giving her a hug. Fantasia walked to her room and plopped down on her bed . She stared at the ceiling and dozed off to bed.
