I anxiously fiddle with the piece of paper in my hand, staring at the phone number written on it. I know I have to text him eventually.

"Just do it, Julie," Gianna says as she sits down across me.

"Yeah, you're right," I sigh. "I don't know why I'm so scared anyway,"

I type the number into my contacts, adding it before finding it again in iMessage, sending a simple message. I'm met with a response almost immediately.
