"So you gone explain what the fuck that was tonight or what?" These were the immediate words that Ms.V was hit with when she entered her massive home and flipped on the lamp sitting on a side table. Dom and Shani were laid out on the two couches in the living room, wrapped in a blanket that they knew V had stored in her hall closet.
Roxanne sat in a lounge chair in the far corner, staring out the window at the window as the trees blew in the wind, meeting the time pass. She'd seen the woman pull in, hearing her keys jingle from the open window she peered out of. She's been on edge ever since the club, and as much as she tried to hide it, she knew that the girls knew. She had questions and needed answers now. V was the one that had them. So that's who she was waiting on. She told them that they could go back home and that V could give her a ride back, but they wanted to wait it out with her and find out what Ms.V had going on.
So, now they were here. Two out of the three sleep and the other one is on edge.
"I don't have time for this tonight, Rocky." The older woman sighed, stepping out of her heels. Her hair was only slightly disheveled, but her face and makeup looked worn from the humid atmosphere of clubbing through the late hours of the night.
Roxanne scoffed, sitting up in her seat, her eyes trained on the woman across the room. "Fuck time, I want answers, V. Need 'em." The girl said through gritted teeth, making sure to keep her voice low due to the fact that her friends were sleeping. The woman paused her steps, about to make her way up the stairs near her. She turned back to the girl, pointing her finger.
"Look, I know how you get, so I'm not gone trip with the way you talkin." She said, glaring over at the girl that she only saw in the same black attire she had on at the club, in the dark room due to the lamp and the moon shining through the window. "But you need to chill out because I can still fire yo ass." She spat, only earning a chuffed chuckle from the dark-skinned girl. She looked off elsewhere, her leg bouncing as she tried to calm herself down.
Seeing that the girl wasn't going to speak again after her light threat, Ms.V walked closer. "Now, what do you want to know?"
"Everything." Roxanne immediately replied, still not looking her way.
Ms.Vegas chuckled, looking at the side of the girl's face. "You know, that's why I like you, Rocky." She said. "You want to know everything about everything. Reminds me a lot of myself." She lazily bragged, a fond smile on her face. But it was like her words went in one of her ears and out the other to Roxanne, the girl only looking at the woman out the corner of her eye as she clenched her jaw.
