Lucas pov.
I let go of that guy's collar as he fell to the ground running away in a pathetic attempt to get away from me.
Guess I'll deal with him later.
Right now all i could see was her. She looked awfully familiar to Amy that it made my stomach twist.
The fact that i wished that it was indeed Amy standing there instead of her made me angry for some reason.
I stormed towards her, slamming her against the locker. Letting my anger control me, i gripped her chin, pressing her harder against the locker as she winced.
As soon as she did, my grip loosed. Something in me snapped at the trace of this girl hurting.
"Dont touch me" she said with hatred as she slapped away my hand, punching me in the face. Again.
This time i was not amused. The only one who could hurt me and get away with it was Amy.
I pinned her against the locker, this time with more force as i held her neck in a chock hold.
"Listen Walker. Next time i see you its not gonna be pretty. So get the fuck away from my face and keep it that way." I said pushing her away.
She fell to the ground letting out a whimper.
I turned away and started walking towards the opposite direction. This day has been fucked up since the morning and now i have to probably deal with her stupid brother as well.
Andrew's been a pain in the ass since his girlfriend's death. I let him go since he's too stupid to see the reality.
I barely walked few steps when i heard her cursing and crying.
"Shit" she screamed. Her eyes were teary and she clutched her stomach.
I looked at her and let out a laugh.
"Dont act weak princess."
She's so frail. I didnt even push her that hard.
She held the locker and tried to get up but ended up falling back. This time she cried out loud.
I loosened my fingers not realising that i was gripping my hand too hard, leaving a bruise.
"Get up Walker and drop the act" i said coldly.
Damit. Why the fuck cant i just walk away.
"Help me. Please. Just take me to the nurse's office" she pleaded.
I was taken aback to see her tough demeanour crack.
"Do it yourself" i said , walking away.
Just then i heard the few people who were gathered there gasp.
I turned around and saw her lying on the ground.
Shit.
I went towards her and picked her up. As much as i wanted to throw her away just like i picked her, i knew i couldn't.
As i lifted her up, i saw drops of blood on the floor between her legs.
Fuck,i guess she was on her periods.
I knew that could hurt as hell since Amy got her periods early and she was in a lot of pain.
Every single thing she did reminded me of her although they were nothing alike.
I quickly wrapped my jacket around her waist and carried her to the nurse's office.
The nurse looked surprised to see me.
"Lucas. What did you do to her" she said running towards me and looking at her.
"Seriously?"
"Lay her down over here" the nurse, Jenna said.
I did as she said and began to leave when the nurse called out.
"Wait. What happened to her" she asked looking at her pale face.
"She's on her period i think. I pushed her and she passed out" i said rubbing my temple.
"You pushed her! You gotta be kidding me. Wait til men get periods and see"
"Its not my fault she's so frail " i said getting frustrated. " Now if thats all you need to know then i have better things to do"
"Not so soon young man. I need to inform her guardians and you should stay here til she wakes up and take responsibility for the mess you've created. You can leave when they arrive" she said giving me a stern look.
I could just walk away but something in me felt bad. I sat on a chair and took out my phone while reminding myself its because i had to take responsibility and nothing else.
The nurse closed the curtains to examine her as i messaged Isaac to update me on few things.
She came out with a confused look.
"Did she show any discomfort or anything before she fell to the ground. Like feeling nausea or anything" she asked
"How the fuck am i supposed to know that." I said irritated. "Why?" I asked feeling curious.
"She doesn't have periods" she said lost in thought.
"Did she bruise her ass or something"
"What? Lucas its serious" she said with a look of disbelief.
"What happened" i asked feeling a bit concerned.
"I cant disclose any of that you can go now" she said waving me off.
You gotta be kidding me.
"Not til her 'guardians' come" i said mockingly.
She went away looking through files to find her contact.
