I had stayed in my grounds, Noah was looking intensely at me while clouds started to thunder in the atmosphere. I was the one who messed up, I know. I have to apologize to him and beg for forgiveness. I am sensitive about losing a friend or even someone I loved.

I took a deep breath and stepped closer. Our heights were so different. I looked down and was kinda nervous. There, I saw his deep brown eyes reflecting at me. They were as precious like stone that had fallen from the gates of heaven, but his heart was like a gift from hell, wanting you to die.

"I want to apologize, of, being a rascal-"

"You are no rascal to me, Noelle." Noah interrupted, his voice became softer yet in a harsh tone. He was still frustrated, which almost made my ass shiver.
"Why do you want to talk to me? It still seems like you're frustrated." I asked. Raindrops started to pour down slowly, and there was no roof on my head. "You really want to know?" He instead asked. Noah is a total stubborn man who has no rights and respect to any person he approaches.

I nodded after a moment of silence. My mind was still loading with confusion and nervousness.
Then, he pulled me unsuspectedly, forcing me to kneel down, having the same level of his face. Damn, this boy is short! No offense, ok?
His breath was so close to me that my nostrils could feel it. The intensity of the wind was circling the atmosphere.

"It's because I. Really. Love. YOU. I would die to hold you inside me. I love. YOU." He spoke. Every word was like a chain swinging on me. It felt like he actually meant it. He was like the guy of every romance book I have read.
This life was like a fantasy, a total fantasy I wished and prayed to God. He pulled my arm to get me up, my words were stuck in my guts, and his gaze was still intense. He patted my back, giving me a slight smile. I never ever saw him smile. He was a cold moron when I met him, seriously.

"I think I should go home. But, thank you for saying that." I replied, giving him a sweet smile.

Noah smirked at me before nodding. "But first," His left hand flew on my ass, hitting it hard. What the hell? "You may leave." Noah replied, his smirk still the same.

I walked out of there and took a cab.

What the hell was that for? Is he jealous of my ass? Or is he doing it on purpose to make me flustered?!

Questions were flying like a fairy on my mind, making me look like a crazy mental patient riding a cab.

I arrived at my safe house and entered the door. The silence was broken due to the door creaked open as I went in.
I turned on the lights and flung myself to the couch. My phone rang, it was Giselle.

****
Me: Selle?

Giselle: Nama is hosting a family dinner tonight, and most importantly, you have to be there.

Me: Alright, on my way. I'm just gonna change, and I'll be goin'

Giselle: Oh, and by the way, the dress code is red. Bye, Cat.

The call ended, and I ran to the master bedroom, onto the walk-in closet.
I wore my French style red dress with a cute little bow for my hair, simple diamond earrings, and some random shoes.

I locked the house and took a cab. I have another notification on Messenger. It was Noah.

****

Noah: Are you home already?

Me: I just did. I'm going to my grandma's for dinner tonight.

Noah: Ok, stay safe. I love you.

Me: You too :)

The phase he kept on saying will sooner be broken...
