Joseph and Josephine sat down on the empty balcony. They were overlooking at people taking photographs of themselves and their friends. They were both stunned at their recent discovery. The two had mixed feelings: they have finally met their long lost twin of seventeen years, confused and angry with their parents as to why they were separated.
Joseph had an idea. "We have to find a way to bring mum and dad back."
"How?" Jo asked. "We can't just let them see us together and say, 'hey, we're twins. Why'd you have to separate?' We need to slowly put the word down."
"You're right." They both got their minds to work.
After a few moments of thinking, they came up with the same idea.
"Hey, why don't we arrange them to meet inside a fancy restaurant?" Jo suggested.
"I was thinking the same. We would tell them to meet us at some reserved table in a restaurant-"
"-And they would see each other instead of us!"
The two spent the remaining time they had from their one hour given by the choirmaster to unwind after the concert staying on the balcony. Together, they schemed for ways on how to reunite their parents after seventeen long years.
Joseph and Michael sat beside each other inside the bus on their way back to the hotel they were staying. Michael began to notice how Joseph and Jo quickly became close to each other.
"Y'know," Michael spoke in a soft voice so as not to awaken the sleeping members. "It's quite impossible for the two of you to be so close to one another within the span of two days."
"A lot can happen in two days, Michael." Joseph whispered to Michael's ear.
Apparently, Michael had misinterpreted Joseph's statement.
"Are you and Jo... having 'mutual feelings' for one another?" Michael asked, out of curiosity.
"What are you talking about? Heavens, no. We just got to be close in two days."
"You're not telling me something."
"What? Why would I not tell you everything that happened? We're best friends, are we not?"
"Yeah, and I suspect you're not telling me something."
Joseph bluffed. "Okay. You got me. But, this is just between the two of us – and Jo."
"I'm all ears."
Joseph made sure that the ones seated in front and at his back were sleeping before he could spill the beans to Michael.
"On the day when Jo and I went to the hospital, something happened."
"I remember. We didn't talk about the 'incident' once we met."
"Jo and I finally arrived in the hospital. We asked the attendant to check for the birth records regarding my date of birth. We waited, and waited. The nurse arrived, carrying three record books-"
"And you found it?" Michael interrupted.
"-Not yet. I quickly skimmed through the pages, looking for the 26th of February entries. I read through all of the entries-"
