We both entered the canteen. A smile crept on my lips when I saw her . She was buying a sandwich for her which she always buys I don't know the reason but she never brings a lunch box.
Her face was still red due to the anger ,maybe because of our last encounter.

" shaurya you stay there , I'll bring something for both of us . Shaurya nodded and sat on the nearby chair .
I made my way to the counter where she was . She was still there waiting for the arrival of her order.
I reached out to her , but maybe she didn't notice me.
I cleared my throat to get her attention and she did notice me this time but I got ignored.

"Hii Arshi " I tried to initiate a conversation with her . She didn't reply.
"Umm ...Ar- " I tried again but she interrupted while turning towards me .
"Do you need anything, kartik ? "
And here we go again. My heart beat fastened and I got out of words . Why I act like this in front of her I don't know myself.
" Bolo bhi , do you want anything?" she asked in frustration.
" Yes " I replied absentmindedly.
" What ?" She asked .
" You " I replied without realizing what I've said .
And of course I was really very late to realize as her face got all red . Maybe because of anger .
"Wha- what ?" She asked in confusion.
"I- I mean your apologies , I need your apologies " I lied but managed.
"But why ?" " " For the way saloni behaved with you , so I really di-"
"And why you are apologising on behalf of her? Do you have some relations with her ? She asked with emphasis on the word "you" .
"Yes she is my family friend actually and the way she talked to you was really unacceptable. So as his friend I really wanted to apologize to you ." I said genuinely.
She replied after a while .
"You don't have to say sorry, that's okay it wasn't your fault. Also, we have our clashes from the very beginning so I don't mind her , at all.
"Thank you. Arshi " I smiled .
She just nodded .
( These cold replies and her nods will kill me one day )
She should give me other replies too.
"Beta your sandwich " uncle called her from the counter .
She took her sandwich and started to go but suddenly stopped in her way , her back in my Direction and said " you both ..... don't seem like just friends, when you talk to each other "
