Aliyaan held the photo album with shivering hands and started turning the pictures with tears rolling down his eyes. He could see his father's happy moments with his family. His picture when he became the Sardar and finally his wedding picture. Aliyaan closed the photo album and sat there still with his heart beating faster than it ever did. After about ten minutes he kept the photo album back and other belongings back in the locker and locked it

He entered the room silently but got emotional seeing his parents who had suffered so much but still pretended to be happy in front of them. He so wanted to cry and scream. He felt his heart shattering but he didn't want them to know that he knew about their past if they wanted to keep it a secret he would never tell them. He lay down beside Alayna but didn't sleep for once and kept crying silently thinking he would never hurt his parents from now on and would be a good son as they wanted him to be

"Aali, Lyna, and Aafi get up all of you have to get ready"
Heyam couldn't complete her sentence seeing Aliyan already dressed up for the college

"I am ready Mama come I will help you in making breakfast"
Aliyan muttered looking down

"You surprised me Aali. I am very happy to see you being responsible come we will make breakfast"
Heyam woke up Alayna and Afaan and went into the kitchen with Aliyan

"What a pleasant surprise"
Burhan who came back after taking a shower as he was exercising in the other room kissed Aliyan's cheeks from behind seeing him standing in the kitchen helping his mother

Aliyan controlled his tears and kissed his cheek back. He couldn't control it anymore so he hugged Burhan tightly turned away and started trying his best to gulp down tears

"Hmm, do you want anything Aali?"
Burhan teased raising his eyebrow but Aliyan still didn't get away from him nodding in no making him a little worried as he always used to whine hearing this

"Are you okay baby?"
Burhan hugged him back and started rubbing his back. Aliyan started crying silently as he couldn't control himself anymore now he knew why his father used to request them to massage his legs whenever he got tired. That accident still had its impact on his body and the financial tension added more to it due to which he became a diabetic patient even before Alayna was born

"Aali what happened my child?"
Burhan pulled him away from the hug worriedly looking at Heyam who was as worried as him. He touched his cheeks to wipe his tears but got shocked as he was burning with fever

"Are you sick? Why didn't you tell me? You have a high fever come on Heyam let's take him to the hospital"
Burhan started taking his car keys out of his pocket

"No baba I am completely fine. Let's go to the college"
Aliyan held his hands and nodded no still having tears in his eyes

"But Aali you shouldn't"
Heyam cupped his cheeks in her hands and caressed them but before she could complete Burhan interrupted angrily

"Are you out of your mind Aliyan? You can't attend classes in this condition I am taking you to the hospital and that's final"
Burhan held his hand and tried to take him but Aliyan didn't move an inch from his place

"Aali your baba is right you should go to the hospital"
Heyam exclaimed worriedly looking at his pale face

"Mama I truly am fine I promise"
He kissed Heyam's forehead lovingly seeing tears in her eyes

"When will you listen to me Aliyan?"
Burhan glared at him nodding his head in disbelief

Aliyan kept studying all day and didn't look up for once making Zaeem and Zubariya shocked to the core. Today whatever Burhan asked him he gave all the right answers making him immensely surprised. Aliyan needed only one person to support him, and to feel what he was going through. He looked up to see Aliya and was shocked to see her looking at Burhan lovingly rather than noting down the lecture. She was talking to her friends pointing her finger at Burhan while winking. Aliyan got confused seeing her acting like this
