As you two were traversing through mountain after mountain, it almost seemed to never end. (Though you were a tiny bit exaggerating about that)
Until thankfully you finally, spotted a small and colorful, but beautiful village, the houses were cottage style, a very welcoming village indeed, with varying shades of the color red.
In addition to the beautiful red cottage houses, the leaves were also starting to turn various shades of orange and red.
The village was at the foot of the mountain you two were standing on, so it was easy to get there.
It was an autumn theme village.

As you and your blonde-haired travel-companion searched an Inn or Pub for you two to stay in for the night as it was starting to turn dark again.
Good thing you two manage to make it here in time before the got down.

As you two searched for a local here in the town to ask for directions on where the nearest and cheapest Inn to stay the night.
It seem like it would be difficult as there was very few people here out in the street, as it was nearing nightfall.
But it seems that luck was on your side as a kind local pointed to an Inn where you were standing.
And with that you thanked him for the directions, let's hope that he didn't lie, and got straight to walking to the direction he pointed.
And it turns out he didn't.
As you two ordered food and a place for the night.
And went upstairs to your room to sleep. Thankful the day was uneventful as you traversed through to get here.
As well as the night so you two slept peacefully.
