One Of A Kind (Skreamer X OC)

~Nine~

I opened my eyes and looked around to see the living room empty, I sat up and rubbed eyes stopping when I heard muffled voices coming from the kitchen. I pulled myself up and walked cautiously to the kitchen, hearing Tayo's raised voice, Michael caught my eye as I stepped into the kitchen and he gave me a soft nod and it seemed I'd walked into an altercation. Sabrina was pointing her finger in Tay's face and he looked like he was ready to punch somone but I kept my distance ready to pop if I needed to not fully trusting this Sabrina chick yet.

"Everything alright?" I spoke and Tayo looked at me, not smiling fully but atleast he tried, I raised my eyebrow and walked in leaning against the counter.

"So those were the hooded things, you were talking about?" she spoke and Michael nodded as Tay came to stand beside me and put his head on my shoulder.

"Yeah, at first, I thought they were trying to kill us but I was wrong. They're tryna take us" he finished looking around the room and I frowned.
"Take us where?" Sabrina asked.

"I have no idea and I don't know who they are but what I do know is that they're after us because of our powers" me and Tayo made eye contacts as I felt him tense beside me.

I walked out and went upstairs to use the bathroom, leaving them to talk. I washed my face and smoothed my hair back away from my face, putting it back up into a ponytail before going back downstairs hearing Sabrina speaking Tayo.

"Krazy, or whatever you call him" I didn't catch the first bit but she looked pissed and Tayo looked so unbothered.

"I dunno where he is" he spoke back to her, looking in her face and I could tell her little outbursts were pissing him coz she was pissing me off.

"Who's asking about Craig?" I walked back in and she looked at me, her face lighting up slightly when she heard me mention his name.

Before she could say anymore, Tayo's phone rang and he answered it leaning back against the counter again. I followed behind him and watched his whole demeanour change. I knew he was talking to Krazy, he mentioned something about Gran but that's all I could make out as Sabrina appeared behind me watching.

"Was that him? Was that Craig?" he looked at me before looking at Sabrina once she'd finished talking and he sighed.

"Cuz, go check Gran" he spoke and I nodded, I pulled out my phone and texted Skreamz my location before he texted back saying 5 minutes.

I ran out the house and jumped in the car leaving the other 4 in the house, I leaned over and kissed Skreamer, before he started driving towards the block. Me and Tayo weren't there to get our grandma out yesterday so Ria and Skreamz went to pick her up for me, I could feel a thick tension in the car but Skreamer kept it civil and left his hand resting on my thigh.

"I'll explain everything to you when I can, I promise you" I spoke and he nodded, keeping his eyes on the road as we turned into the estate.

"You don't need to explain nothing, just keep yourself safe and keep your eye on Taze" he spoke as we pulled up and turned off the engine.

We got out and ran up the stairs as I fished my keys out my pocket and unlocked the door to find my Grandma sat upright in her chair watching some daytime telly, she looked up and smiled as we came. I sat beside her as Skreamz went to go pack me a bag coz he knew I wasn't gonna be able to stay here with everything that was going on, even though he didn't know the full extent.

"Hey Grams" I sat beside her and she took my hands in hers, sighing before leaning forward and kissing my head and I closed my eyes leaning into her touch.

"I know there is something going on that you can't tell me about and I get that but please my love, just be careful and stay safe" she spoke, rubbing my cheek and I nodded my head, knowing she didn't mean just me but she meant Tayo aswell.

"I love you Grandma and once everything is sorted, I'll come back. I asked Aunt Shereen to come stay with you for awhile, just till we deal with this shi- I mean stuff" I corrected myself from cussing and she nodded as Skreamz came out my room with a bag.

"I love you too and tell your cousin I love him aswell" she spoke and I nodded before getting up, I changed into leggings and a black hoodie before kissing my gran and leaving with Skreamz.

"There's a lot of shit going on, me and Tayo and some other people are being hunted for what we do" I spoke and he looked at me, waiting for the second part because there was more.
"and... Tayo got a call from Krazy this morning. I don't know what's gonna happen but I know I need to stay with him" I finished and he looked down at ground, sighing as he leaned against the car bonnet.

"Alright so it's something that you and Taze gotta do together and thats fine I understand that but I'm not gonna lie, I ain't tryna lose you Ky. I love you too much man" he pulled me by my waist into him and I sighed, resting my head against his chest and he wrapped his arms around me.

"I don't know if we're making this one out alive I won't lie to you, I'll do everything in my power to keep Tay alive but I love you too" I spoke and he lifted my head before leaning down to kiss me. A kiss filled with so much love, it almost felt like a goodbye kiss and my stomach fell at the thought.

I felt my phone buzz and looked down seeing a message from Tayo that said A-Town. That must be where he's gonna go deal with Krazy, I kissed Skreamz again, grabbed my bag and jumped in my car beside his before starting up the engine and drove away.
As I pulled up outside the old abandoned estate, I saw Michael, Rodney, Sabrina and some woman that I could only guess was Dionne from the way he was holding her, I got out the car as I pulled up alongside the blue one and they all looked at me.

"Ky... Kyra" she called my name and I blinked, before realising that I'd known Dionne this whole time.

"Dionne, I didn't know it was you we was tryna save" she smiled sadly before walking over and pulling me into her for a hug, I looked up at Michael who looked concerned and worked out that he must've just told her about July 9th.

"How do you two know eachother?" he spoke as we let go and I smiled at Dionne as she turned to face Michael.

"I used to babysit Kyra, when she was little before her mum passed away" he nodded once she finished speaking and I felt a wave of sadness hit me when  I remembered it was her we were doing this for so I pulled her in and hugged her again, tuning back into the conversation the other three started having.

"Alright so Andre might be in there and Tay's also in there because he messaged me saying A-Town, that has to be where Krazy told him to come, meaning your sister is probably in there aswell" I spoke pointing the last part at Sabrina who nodded her head at me and I sighed, taking a deep breath.

"Yeah so I reckon, we get in your car and drive in and try catch 'em lacking" Rodney speaks and I nod my head walking to the driver side as he and the rest follow, we pile in my car and drive in slowly hearing Michael saying that Dionne should've gone home.

I was bricking it now but here goes nothing. I needed to find Tayo and then we need to find Sabrina's sister and help Michael keep Dionne alive, especially now that I knew who it was because she meant so much too me.
There was too much riding on this, I know that kiss for Skreamz and my Gran could've been a goodbye and that was something I might have to just deal with now.

Sabrina, Rodney, Tayo, Michael and Dionne were all getting out alive and I swear on everything I'd make sure it happened, even if it killed me and I think I was okay with that.
I had to be, we weren't all guaranteed to make it out alive.
