Arrange marriage

Jennie found the whole arranged marriage situation that happens in movies and books absurd and unrealistic until it happened to her or you can say is happening to her cause at the moment she's sat opposite to her soon to be wife, even more ironic cause why is she marrying someone she doesn't know and a woman at that.

"Jennie dear come on it's just on paper and the whole ceremony can be private" Mrs Kim said placing her hand on top of her daughter who was clearly in denial.

"But mother she's a woman, why am I marrying a woman??" Jennie whispered at her mum who glared at her in return.

"You know how it is dear, we need to merge the companies together and it's only possible if you guys get married" Mrs Kim tried explaining to Jennie as calmly as she can.

"Ask my brother to marry her then"

"Your brother is a married man young lady, so now stop acting like a child and acknowledge your future wife" mrs Kim said pinching Jennie under the table.

"Owww fine mother stop abusing me" Jennie winced rubbing her burning skin which was turning a light shade of red.

"Hello woman, it is totally very nice to meet you" Jennie bowed slightly at the doe eyes girl opposite to her earning herself another harsh pinch from her mother.

"She has a name Jennie Kim, refer to her by her name" Mrs Kim screeched at Jennie.

The cat eyed girl just sighed and fixed her posture straightening up her back.

"Hello Lalisa, it's a pleasure meeting you, I hope we can get along well in the near future" she said giving the younger girl a tight lipped smile.

"That wasn't so hard now was it" Mrs Kim said narrowing her eyes at her daughter.

"Ahahah, don't be so tense dear Jennie our daughter Lisa can be a good friend of yours" Mrs manoban said laughing slightly trying to ease the awkward tension between them.

The older adults nodded their head agreeing to the statement.

"Why don't you two young ladies get to know each other more privately and us adults can have a little talk regarding the whole thing" Mr manoban said ushering her daughter out of her chair.

"Yeah go on sweetie, try to get along with her. Do this for your dad please" Mr Kim said Holding on to her daughter's hand smiling warmly at her.

The girl sighed at her dad but returned the smile nevertheless nodding her head.

A waitress led both of them to a balcony area that overlooked the bustling night of Seoul.

Jennie glanced at the girl near her, her long slender finger was holding a glass of champagne as she looked below admiring the view. Her light brown hair swayed in the wind, her doe eyes glimmering. She watched as the doe eyed girl take a sip of her glass of champagne running her tongue over her plump pink lips.

The younger girl was wearing a black strapless dress that hugged her curve on all the right places with simple heels.

"Starring is rude you know" the girl said her voice was smooth and sultry at the same time pleasing Jennie's ears.

However she snapped her head back to the night view, a light blush appearing on her cheeks from getting caught.

"I wasn't starring" she muttered under her breath

"You so were" the doe eyed girl chucked lightly.

"I was just checking you out, why what about it? You're gonna end up as my wife one way or another" Jennie said downing her glass of champagne looking at the younger girl while smirking.
