IF THIS ISN'T LOVE CHAPTER 06
The day started with a slight headache. I knew it was going to be a long day when I saw Tristan boarding the same bus as me for our freshman field trip. I groaned inwardly, remembering our last encounter at the library, which ended in a yelling match that disrupted the entire room. I was that we didn't get punished and the woman who handled the library forgave us. His dad was informed about what happened that day but I still didn't know his father's next move I trust that his dad is not planning some bad punishment for us.
Why do we have to take the same course?
As long as I entered the bus. I saw him just sitting in the middle part. Crossed arms, wearing a long sleeve jacket, paired with some ripped black pants, and his high black shoes that I am sure cause a thousand na I'm sure bariya lang para sakaniya, looking so bored. Dislike being in here. Well for the first time, we feel the same. I wouldn't want to be where he is more than anyone.
As I found a seat nearby, I noticed our professor, Dr. Hayes, watching Tristan and me with a stern look. My heart sank when he approached me. Our block mates were so excited as they also entered the bus at isa isa na itong nagsiupuan pagkatapos ilagay ang mga gamit sa taas kung saan ang lagayan. Ang tanging dala ko lang ay duffel bag dahil ito lang ang alam ko na mapagkakasya ko ang lahat ng kailangan ko, it was a bit heavy because we are going to stay for two or three days.
But it's uncomfortable being in here, breathing the same air with Tristan. His scene envelopes my nose as I stand near his seat. May among babae sa tabi niya. And that girl was... The girl he kissed as I saw them in the comfort room. Together. His hand is all over him– I should stop.
The girl in his short skirt immediately clung onto him. Wala sa wisyo niya itong binalingan.
"Isn't this fun? We're on the same bus." She excitedly spoke with an unbelievable smile on her face. Does she like him that much?
His eyes turned to me but when our eyes met he rolled his at nag iwas ng tingin pagkatapos. We dislike each other that much. Wala ng kataka-taka roon. We are born to hate each other this much.
"Juliette, Tristan, since there's no available sit. I want you two to sit together," Dr. Hayes ordered, his tone leaving no room for argument. What?
"Why, Sir? May upuan pa naman po sa likod. I can sit there. And besides po, the sit you're talking about is taken. " I blurted out, unable to hide my irritation but I stopped myself.
"Because I know about the commotion you two caused in the library. It's about time you learned to get along. Now, sit." My mouth fell open in disbelief. This shouldn't be.
Sumibangot sa akin iyong babae na nakaupo sa tabi ni Tristan. Tristan was beside the window. Nakakunot na agad ang noo niyang tumingin sa akin at hindi rin makapaniwala sa ginusto ng prof.
It's more than better to just write an apology letter instead of forcing myself to get along with that man.
"She can sit anywhere, Sir." He spoke. And he thinks he always has a privilege because his father owns our university but Dr. Hayes doesn't even flinch at his words.
"I'm teaching you to be better, Mr. Lopez. You didn't need to advise me, I know better."
The girls that had been sitting beside him, bump my shoulder and proceed to the back seat. Reluctantly, I slid over to the window seat, but he didn't let me cause that was his seat even before I entered the bus but I needed to be there dahil may possible na mahilo ako sa she. He hissed so I stood up in front of him while he was still sitting on his spot.
"Ako diyan." Ani ko. Talagang determinado na doon uupo. He tilt his head in irritation.
"I'm sitting here, obviously. Kung ayaw mo rito, then find your own seat." Aniya na parang wala akong choice kung hindi ang sumunod sa gusto niya.
