Camila POV

Once I pulled into the driveway of Lauren's house I saw only once light on. There was also another car there besides Lauren's civic. It must be Lauren's dad.

I haven't heard much about Lauren's parents. My mom said they were still a happy family, but that didn't seem right with the way Lauren acted now.

Well, it's time to see what she is hiding.

I got out of my car and walked to the door. That's when I heard a loud crash followed a scream. It was a feminine scream, and I knew it had to be Lauren. Her mom's car wasn't home so that only left her and her dad.

"I leave only to find out you fucking used up my card?!" A mans voice echoed outside of the house. Without thinking I swung opened the door and was heartbroken by the sight.

Lauren was laying on the floor surrounded by glass pieces and her dad was hovering over her. He looked up at me and glared.

"What the fuck do you want?!" I flinched at his tone and noticed Lauren staring at me with fear in her eyes.

"Ca-Camz, you n-need to l-leave." She stuttered out, blood coming from her mouth. "Now." Her tone was more demanding this time. Michael let out a throaty chuckle and shook his head.

"No, I think she should stay." He growled. My body was frozen in place. He started moving forward and I immediately backed up against the doorframe.

"Don't you fucking touch her." Lauren snarled, slowly getting to her feet. Her shirt was ripped and covered in fresh blood, and there was many little cuts around her face and on her arms.

Michael turned back to face Lauren, I saw the look in his eyes. The only time I've seen that look is when someone pisses off Dinah. And that never ended well, and I'm sure this wasn't about to either.

"What is she to you? Another whore you fuck then dump?" Michael asked, and Lauren growled.

"I am nothing like you. I don't fuck all my problems away. If mom was still here she would be disgusted. And she would hate you. Just like I do. Just like Taylor and Chris do." She snapped at him, venom pouring out of every word.

Michael only seemed dazed for a second, before regaining his composure.

"Do not mentioned you mother!" Michael shouted. Lauren glared at him and took a step forward.

Wait, what happened to Lauren's mother?

Then it hit me. Lauren had her mothers motorcycle, she wasn't like she use to be, she didn't bring up her family as often, and they were talking about Clara in past tense.

Clara died while I was away.

"No, I mention her because I didn't get her killed. If it wasn't for you and your drinking she would still be here... She would still be alive." Lauren fell to her knees and busted into tears.

For a moment I forgot about Michael and surged forward. Once I was crouched near Lauren I pulled her into my arms.

"It's okay, Lolo. Shh, it'll be okay." I whispered, giving her a kiss on her forehead. She moved her head into the crook of my neck and I felt the tears traveling down my neck.

"I miss her, Camz. I fucking miss her so much." She said through sobs. Her body was shaking violently and her arms wrapped around me and pulled me impossibly closer.

"Isn't that cute. The innocent little girl falls for the troubled girl. It makes me sick!" Michael yelled and I held Lauren tighter. Her arms loosened around me and she started pulling away.

"Camz, let me go. I need to deal with him, I can't let you get hurt." She told me with a small smile. Before I could respond I felt sweet, plump lips on mine. "You need to run when I tell you." She stood up and faced Michael. I stood up as well only to hear a crash and see Lauren fall to the floor.

Michael had hit her with a glass vase.

"Camila... Run." Lauren's voice was frail and weak, blood was falling from her hairline.

But I couldn't. Not without Lauren.

"I love you, Camila. Now run." Lauren pushed herself up and tackled her father to the floor. "Go!" She shouted as Michael pushed her off of her.

I love you too, Lauren.

It took me a minute before running. I ran to the door, but stopped when my shirt collar was yanked into my neck.

"Where do you think you're going, bitch? Running off to mommy and daddy?" I could tell Michael was smirking even without looking at him.

"Let her go!" I heard Lauren's voice break through and my body was thrown to the ground.

"Shit!" I let out in pain. I looked around to see Lauren and Michael fighting. Lauren took a jab at the side of his face before he kicked her shin, making her collapse to the floor.

"I am so tired of dealing with your shit. Everyday I come home to this house being a fucking mess and all you do is fight! And to add on top of that you used my card for what? A ring?" Michael shouted, before moving his hand behind his back and pulling out a metal object.

A gun.

"Tell Clara I said hi." Those were the last words I heard before a loud bang. It rang through my ears and I felt a pain in my chest, along with warm liquid seeping into my clothes.

Oh god...

My vision went black and my feet seemed to disappear from under me.

"Laur-" It was all I could get out before closing my eyes.

Lauren POV

I saw him pull out the gun and before I could register what was happening Camilla was falling to the floor. My father blocked my path and let out a psychopathic laugh.

"Laur-" Camila muttered before closing her eyes. Her skin was getting paler by the second.

"Let me go you fucking bastard!" I shouted at my father, but he wouldn't budge. I kicked and punched him only to get slammed back onto the ground. Pain shot through my body and I groaned.

"Your girlfriend is dead. Now it's your turn." He smiled at me and I jabbed my elbow into his throat, causing him to drop me and the gun. I kicked the gun away before running to Camila.

Blood was flowing from her body at a rapid speed. I used a shredded part of my shirt and pushed down on the gun wound.

"Come on, Camz. Please don't leave me." I begged, tears leaving my eyes. There was a sharp pain in my side and I rolled over to the side, looking at my father who was hovering above me.

"You were a fucking mistake. Just because the condom broke here I am dealing with you." He snarled at me. I moved my arms around, my fingers curling around the trigger.

"No, I wasn't a mistake. Mom would've carried the weight of the world on her shoulders for her kids... But I can't say the same about you." The gun quickly moved from the floor to aiming at his chest.

There was three loud bangs and my father fell to the floor. I slowly stood up and aimed the gun at his head.

"This is way easier than what you deserved." By now he was coughing up blood and struggling to breath. I put that to end when the bullet went straight through his brain.
