Aatika(extra sweetly): may I know why did u not take your dinner ?I had already sent ram bhai to your sets

Varun(meekly): woh ram bhai was taking way too much time ,u know the Mumbai traffic and I was getting late for the scene so...

Aatika: so u decided you will drink 4 glasses of fine in the span of 1.5 yrs when u could have ordered something to eat but no you decided to do what 16 yrs old teenagers do.

She said sarcastically while stuffing another bite of curd rice in varun's mouth not letting him speak and continued

Aatika: oh! How can I forget u cannot eat from outside you are on a diet right now,but those 4 glasses of red wine isn't harming your diet plan. Now say something why are u quite

the later part was said with a bit of raised voice while another spoon was shoved in his mouth stopping him from answering her.

Varun: I didn't want u to get worried

He said while still chewing on the food in his mouth when aatika handed him the almost finished bowl and got up.

Aatika: ya ya fine finish that whole thing . my back hurts I need some rest.

After 30 minutes

3rd person pov
After being finished with eating and  scrolling reels for sometime varun decide to go to his room,while entering the room he saw aatika on the her study table with her medical bag arranging things which was her everyday routine.he sat on the bed again doing something on his mobile and asked

Varun: pumpkin, your back hurts na why are u on the table come and lie down

Aatika: yes I am coming in was waiting for u,thought of giving u the 2nd dose and then sleep.

Varun who thought aatika might be passing him the tablets outstretched his palm while still gazing at his mobile when after a few seconds he lifted his head his eyes widened in horror as he saw her preparing an injection,aatika who saw his face going pale raised her eyebrow asking as If what's wrong even though she exactly knew what caused it

Varun: is tha.. that for m.. Me?

Aatika: yes ofcourse the stunt u have   pulled today  we need to do something about it.

Varun: but aatika what's even the need . I don't need that.

Aatika: wow varun u never told me that u have a degree in medicine too apart from the one in business

Varun: I am absolutely fine aatu

Aatika: ha I know how much fine u are

Varun: can't u give me something which I can take orally

Aatika: I can but why should I? U should have thought about it before.

Varun: please na ,u know I hate needles

Saying that he pulled the best Puppy eyes one could have ever seen but then we were talking about aatika who has dated him for 10 yrs

atika: no.no those eyes are not going to work on I am not one of your fangirls ,nobody loves injections and punishments are suppose to hurt

Varun: u still angry on that

He asked like a child, aatika could no longer suppress her chuckle which escaped seeing his antics

Varun: are u enjoying this

Aatika: enjoying what varun

Varun: u know what I don't want it u can't force me

Varun tried stating firmly but it sounded more like a request that's when aatika uncapped the injection sat on  the bed but he got up and backed down making her laugh

Aatika: what happened varun why are u backing off now I can't force u na come on what's even the use of hitting gym every day and pumping those muscles of yours?

She asked giggling capping the needle again and asking him to sit beside her

Varun: I am alright see just drop the idea

Aatika: see sweetheart u can't escape from your punishment, so behave like  a good boy and listen to me it won't hurt much.ok

Varun: u are so evil aatika

He said innocently while forwarding his hand towards her,though she knew he needed it still she felt bad for her big baby who looked almost on the verge of tears eyeing the needle

Varun: ah! oww

He whimpered slowly and grabbed on to aatika's knee tightening his muscles when aatika inserted the needle.

Aatika: hey don't keep your hand stiff like that it will hurt more and yeah I am  not doing this coz I am angry or enjoying it but because u were feeling dizzy a while ago,ur head throbs right now and probably your tummy hurts too

She said stating the truth as she knew now it was enough of her teasings and knowing her husband who when not well takes every word to his heart and then it's really a task to make up to him and maybe that is what was going to happen tomorrow morning but that was to be worried afterwards. Varun somewhat relaxed his arms that's when aatika pushed the plunger quickly taking out the needle too immediately putting a cotton swab rubbing the area to reduce swelling

Aatika: see it's done I did it so fast and u were calling me evil.it didn't even hurt na

Varun: yeah u were the one taking it that's why it didn't hurt me

Said varun sniffling like a little child, climbing further on the bed placing his head on the pillow turning on his left side

Aatika switched off the lights and layed beside him pulling him closer to her chest threading his hair with one hand and holding him from another
