"Yo! Nat wait up!" My best friend called out to me. I stop to the side of the hall as other
students go by as I wait for him to make his way to me. "may i be of assistance to you jessy?" I ask him when he gets to me.
"ah.. come on dude a simple whats up would do you don't need to be all fancy with you words around me." he states giving me a slight annoyed look.
" well Jessy I do apologize if my way of speaking is too formal for you but it is how i am comfortable speaking, so as you would say.. just deal with it." I state back with a smirk causing Jessy to break out into a wide grin.
"ah man you're too cute when you talk nerdy to me" Jessy says nudging me playfully and we make our way down the hall and leave the school building to make our way home.
Jessy is my childhood friend me and him grew up together and would never be seen apart all through school until we got into high school. During our freshman year we slightly went our own ways. Jessy was popular with the girls and he join the basketball team. As for me I enjoyed learning. I would be your stereotype nerd.
But don't get me wrong me and Jessy are still pretty inseparable. Due to this, even though I am a nerd, I'm not bullied and included in his group of friends, even though I normally opt to be alone reading while the others goof off and plan parties. This was pretty much how I made my way through high school till my senior year when everything changed all due to me being top of the class. Everyone in school calls me Nat, but that is just a nickname. No one in my school really knew who I was, maybe
not even Jessy.
