Eddie woke up thinking about Buck... again and he had a little surprise, MORNING WOODDDDDD. Are you surprised no. Eddie tried relaxing didn't work, he tried to think about ANYTHING any POSSIBLE thing he even tried to do his TAXES. Did he succeed, nope. He said "fuck it", he jumped in the shower and jerked off.
He let all his thoughts about Buck go through his hands and onto his dick. As he moaned, groaned, and screamed. Pumping faster with each and every thought, he realized he was so mad because out of all the people in the world he had to like his best friend. "WHY, WHY BUCK OUT OF ALL PEOPLE" Eddie screamed. His tears mixed with the water from the shower "The worst part is I can't even tell him." Eddie said his voice cracking.
Eddie had to do something that he NEVER wanted to do. He had to ignore Buck or at least try to. It pained Eddie to do this but he was doing it for the greater good for his friendship and him.
Eddie walked into the firehouse checking if Buck was nearby "thank god" Eddie mumbled under his breath. He went to the locker rooms to get changed. He heard a familiar voice from behind him "Hey Eddie" Buck said very happily "Hi," Eddie said quickly.
Buck sat down and started telling Eddie how great his date was with Tommy, "we went to this air show it was so cool people jumped out helicopters into others," Eddie zoned him out not realizing he was making fists in his lap.
Eddie didn't notice Buck calling his name until he touched his forearm. Eddie said "Huh, oh really, that's great," trying his best not to look him in the eyes because of the tears going down his face.
Buck noticed something was wrong. He asked in a calm but concerned voice, "Eddie what's wrong" "Nothing" Eddie said in a shaky voice. "Look me in my eyes and say you're fine," Buck said. Eddie didn't look at, he just stared at the ground trying to figure out what to say.
Buck put his fingers under Eddie's chin and lifted it and made Eddie look at him. Eddie said "I'm fine" in a stern voice, as a tear rolled down his face. Buck wiped the tear with his thumb not breaking eye contact with his best friend. Seeing his best friend in pain and not being able to help him, shattered Buck's heart.
"What's wrong," Buck said voice cracking as his eyes filled up with tears. "I love you and I don't know how to say it. Since the day I met you, I knew we were meant to be, but you're with Tommy. I put myself through hell just to try to stop having feelings for you. But, damn it, Buck, you have this spell on me that can't get me out of this dream thinking that me and you have a chance. So that's what's wrong!" Eddie wanted to scream this to him, but Eddie just looked at him and said "Nothing" and walked away.
Eddie walked up to the kitchen and found Chimmney and Hen. " what's up Diaz" Chimney said. Eddie sat down not even realizing Chimney said hi. "Eddie, hello you in there?"Hen said trying to get his attention. "Oh hey guys," Eddie says wondering what just happened and why was he in the kitchen.
"What am I doing in the kitchen?" Eddie thought to himself. "Hey, is Bobby in his office?" he asked Chim and Hen. "Yeah," they replied in unison. "Ok, thank you," Eddie said, on his way down the stairs. "Eddie Diaz, you have a crush, don't you," Hen thought to herself.
Eddie knocked on Bobby's door " Come in" a voice said inside. "Hey, cap"Eddie said voice very small. "Uh, I have to tell you something." "Go on" Bobby said as he read the papers scattered across his desk. "I might be in love with my best friend" Eddie blurted out. Bobby looked up at him, "oh you mean Buck oh yeah I've known for a while," Bobby says as he goes back to reading the papers.
Eddie looked at Bobby sideways wait you knew? for how long? When did you find out? All these questions were running through his head but only one seemed to come out. "How?" Bobby looked at Eddie like he had three heads, are you serious Bobby asked. "Yeah," Eddie answered sheepishly.
"Well, I'm not blind I see the way you look at him, the way you talk to him, I saw the worry and pain in your eyes when you thought you were gonna lose him, oh and I know that when Buck was getting crushed by a fire truck he would not let go of your hand." Eddie's eyes widened as Bobby said that,
"H-h-how do you know about?" Eddie studdered.
"Once again, I told you I'm not blind I see the connection between you two and I'm not the only one Hen knows so we've been talking about it for weeks." Eddie thought it was kinda funny but he felt a little betrayed.
"How come you didn't tell me all of this earlier Eddie said, because it's not my place you have to figure out who you love on your own no one can help you with that." Bobby's words hit him like a bullet. "Thanks, cap that helps a lot." "No problem kid and if you and Buck get together you guys can stay at the 118 together we just won't tell HR" Bobby said with a wink and a smile.
