Chapter 2 : a suspension

After we change into these track suit of sort we all start to walk outside. You can hear murmuring of confusion of different people wondering why we're going outside. Deep down i'm having the same questions i look at a clock in the hallway before we make our way out side it's about 9:30 am and orientation starts at 10. All I can think is what is going on i felt in my gut that's something important was about to happen. We're on some sort of baseball field ad the teacher continues to speak while we're out here.

"You've been taking standardized tests most of your lives. But you never got to use your Quirks in physical exams before." The teacher announced i looked around to see faces of agreement I've only gotten to do one once because of the internship i earned during the summer, the teacher continued on his tangent"The country's still trying to pretend we're all created equal by not letting those with the most power excel. It's not rational. One day, the Ministry of Education will learn." Students were looking at one another giving each other glances of confusion and some giving some of nervousness and frustration as well.

"Bakugo" he says i look over at him and rip my eye and he looks back and returns the nastiness right back, Aizawa continued "you managed to get the most points on the entrance exam. What was your farthest distance throw with a softball when you were in Junior High?" He walks up closer to the teacher and grabs the baseball "i think about sixty-seven meters" before he can question our teacher continues on his way and say. "Now try doing it with your quirk"

The blonde boy steps up to the plate and continues to put his body into a pitching stance as he moves his hand back to pitch then uses his quirk. Before this i hadn't see his quirk it even know what it was i saw a fire like explosion escape her hand and the way the ball few away it had to at least be 500 meters away the teacher looks up from his phone showing us how the ball went 705.3 meters away. Gasps and different reactions of disbelief echoed throughout the area. I try to hide my impressed expression knowing i need to learn how to use his quirk. But then anger takes over my body when the blonde kid comes and stands next to and says under his breath "beat that extras..."

After hearing that i saw red and was waiting for Aizawa to start the next person to go up for the baseball throwing but he explained how that was a practice pitch and how most of our challenges are going to be physical activity based but using our quirks to advance us. But then he dropped a bombshell was dropped on us "the person who scores the lowest on the test gets expelled" this sent a chill into the air i felt sick to my stomach as he bought us to our first challenge 50 meter dash.

As all the students started going two at a time i decided that i was going to use the quirk jet to help me get max speed when it was my turn i realized i was paired with bakugo. He stood at a halt and glared at me waiting for the Aizawa to tell when to go he started the count down "3... 2... 1.. go"

When he got to the go i activated the quirk and literally jetted off making it past the finish line .26 seconds faster than him. I let out a sigh of relief after doing that knowing that only two other were faster than me in the challenge giving me a good start but after finishing it. Bakugo had an even salter attitude towards me since i ending up winning against him. As i walked past all i could hear him say is "damn show off.." I've had enough of this comments i turned around looked up at him "want to say that to my face cause i don't with this childish comments." He got in my face and said "Damn show off you brat" the name calling made me even more angry "oh really I'm the show off" i roll my eyes at him "your the prince of showing off you need to stop or your mouth is going to get you in trouble" before he can respond i walked away from him god he was such a jerk we as a class finish the rest of the challenges i average in about the middle for most of them besides the running ones which i end up being pretty high up there then we get to the baseball one.

Two before i go uraraka steps up to bat and throw and the ball just keeps floating and the Aizawa shows us her score infinity. Shocked expression and different kinda of 'no ways' are said through the crowd when she makes her way back an idea makes its way into my head. I walk over to her and whisper her my question which she agrees to. About a minute later my name is called up to go throw the ball i see bakugo snicker at my name being called up i active uraraka's quirk and as everyone watches i also get an infinite amount as well. As i get that i hear a shout of a familiar annoying voice "Hey! There's no way she did that by herself she cheated" i look over to see bakugo stomping his way over to me "i didn't cheat! How would i" he continued to say "You used her quirk" pointing at uraraka "Yeah i did that's how my quirk works!" Confusing spread through the arena "my quirk is copy and paste i can use any quirk i want as long as its do able and ive used it before!" Before bakugo can say another word Aizawa shuts him up "That's it if i have to use my quirk again your all going to regret it.." that's brings all of us to a halt the last person goes who's name i believe is izuku and he has a pretty strong power as well but after using it, it looks like he broke his finger.

After finishing all the challenges in standing next to izuku but bakugo called him deku so i guess i was wrong in his name. And he taps on me "hey.. if i don't get kicked out of school can i ask you some questions about your quirk!" I looked at the slightly confused hug more than happy to "of course and even if you do get kicked out I'm more than happy to hangout with you and tell you!" This brought smile to his face. Aizawa put up the scores in searches for my name i got in 9th place i thought to myself not to bad then i looked down at 21 place to see "deku's" name which is in fact Izuku Midoriya i patted him on the back until our teacher said. "Yeah that thing i said about last place going home was a lie i just wanted you all to try your best." Everyone was in shock until momo speaks up "i thought everyone figured as much i would have told you all if i knew you guys thought this was true." All i could think in my head is are you kidding me. Everyone finished up and we started heading home for the day.
