Subhadra, the lovely sister of Sri Krishna, had found her perfect match in Arjun, and their love for each other was palpable. She was cherished by everyone in the Pandava family, and the ladies of Indraprastha adored her.

Devika, Karenumati, and Valandhara, had all been blessed with sons. ( Before subhadra's arrival)

Draupadi, despite loving Subhadra, feels pained when Arjun and Subhadra are together.
Draupadi is three months pregnant with Sahadev's child .
....

As Diwali arrived, Indraprastha transformed into a dazzling spectacle of lights and colors. The entire city was adorned with vibrant flowers and intricate rangoli designs, while thousands of diyas flickered like stars, casting a warm glow over the landscape. The air was filled with the sweet scent of incense sticks and the sound of laughter and chatter, as the Pandavas and their loved ones prepared to celebrate the triumph of light over darkness.

....

Arjun and Subhadra found themselves alone in their chamber, surrounded by the soft glow of diyas. Arjun, dashing in his Diwali attire, couldn't help but admire Subhadra's devotion as she carefully crafted an exquisite dress for the idol of Lord Rama, her fingers moving with precision and love. The dress, made of fine silk and adorned with intricate embroidery, seemed to shimmer in the soft light, reflecting Subhadra's deep reverence for the divine. Arjun's heart swelled with pride and affection as he watched his beloved wife, her face aglow with concentration, her eyes sparkling with devotion.

Arjun: "Priye, when will you get ready? It's almost time for the Diwali puja."

Subhadra: "I'll be ready , Arya. Let me just complete this dress for Lord Rama's idol."

Arjun: "Priye, you're so devoted to Lord Rama. But I think you're even more radiant than the diyas lighting up the palace."

Subhadra: (laughs) "Arya, you're always full of sweet words. But I'm just trying to do my part for our family's happiness."

Arjun: "Your part is what makes our family complete, Priye. Your love and devotion are what bring us all together."

Subhadra: "And your love and protection are what make me feel safe and cherished, Arya. I'm so grateful to be your wife."

Arjun: "I'm the one who's grateful, Priye. You're the sunshine that brightens up my life. Come, let me help you with that dress. We can finish it together."

Subhadra: "Thank you, Arya. Together, we can accomplish anything."

As they work together, their hands touch, and they exchange a loving glance. Arjun gently brushes a strand of hair behind Subhadra's ear, and she smiles, feeling loved and cherished.

Arjun: "Priye, I notice you've chosen a simple yet elegant sari and minimal jewels. You always opt for understated beauty. Why is that?"

Subhadra: (smiling) "Arya, I've learned that heavy makeup and elaborate attire can be overwhelming. I prefer simplicity, as it allows me to move freely and focus on what's truly important."

Arjun: "But you're a princess, Priye. You deserve to shine like a queen."

Subhadra: (laughs) "I may be a princess, Arya, but I'm also a warrior's wife. I need to be able to handle myself in any situation. Heavy makeup and elaborate attire would only hinder me."

Arjun: "I see. You're as practical as you are beautiful, Priye. I admire that about you."

Subhadra: (giggles) "Remember our wedding, Arya? I could barely walk properly in that heavy bridal attire. I felt like I was going on a trip over my own feet!"
