when lyr won the award for "rapper of the year" the crowd went absolutely wild─the rapper had grown a massive fanbase ever since his single "black eye" and featuring with charli xcx on her track "beg for you", and everyone was rooting for him, even if they themselves were artists who were also nominated in that category.
laufey & pinkpantheress, who were attending the awards themselves, both had bouquets hiding under their seats (as confirmed by both of the females later), and got up to give them to him at the same time, causing the crowd & fans to go even wilder when both of the singers looked at each other in confusion and amusement while lyr just blushed & laughed.
both of them froze up with blushes on their face, obviously not expecting the other to present to flowers to the russian-korean either. lyr took both bouquets from both females, hugging them and planting a small kiss on each of their foreheads before making his way to the podium for his speech, sparking many rumors & articles on hidden relationships between the three.
