Once upon a time long long ago, well more like 20 years ago Belle married her beast in front of 6 thousand of their closest personal friends. Big cake. Yah so instead of a honeymoon beast united all of the kingdoms and got himself elected as the king of the United States of auradon. He rounded up all the villains, the sidekicks you know all the really interesting people and he booted them off to the isle of the lost with a magical barrier to keep them there. No magic no wifi no way out. Or so I thought.
"Dad PLEASE just let me know who my mom is I'm begging of you it can't be that bad you know" I ask exhausted of waiting 15 years to know who my mother is. He looks at me with a sad look in his eyes almost like he can't even utter the words to me "honey I told you once your 16 you can know but right now we are on auradon I can't say anything that may jeopardize our chances here" a lightbulb sound goes off in my head "so she's not from auradon?" I perk up as he hits his head on the oak wood table. "Dad?" "GO TO SCHOOL it's finally open"
While walking to school I see a pure white baby bunny "oh hi little guy can I help you?" The bunny turns to me shocked "mommy go somewhere I don't know" I nod my head perk of being the white snakes daughter I can speak to animals. "I see do you have a nest?" Bunny shakes head "fox try eat us I see my brother get eat" I gasp "you poor baby!" I see an older rabbit come towards us cautiously eye blinking waiting to see my next move. I smile in reassurance "I'm Melody my dads the white snake I was just trying to help I didn't touch him I didn't want you to get the wrong idea" the bunny hops towards us "thank you kindly you see this fox has been attacking us I was trying to find a safe place to nest for us without him finding us again" I nod head looking at my spikes black watch. "My dad has a safe haven for bunnies back at our castle I can lead you there and you can stay there my dad can talk to you as well so there should be no problem". The bunny hops excitedly "please madam we do appreciate it" I hear back to the Ivy covered castle and lead them to our wooden bunny area with 10s of baby bunnies in the same situation. "You should be safe now lovely I hope you and your baby have a beautiful life I won't be back for months but I will be asking my dad for updates." The bunny smells me closing its eyes showing it trusts me "I will remember your kindness madam" i give them a pile of carrots and smile walking back towards auradon prep, you see it's a three hour walk but I love talking to the animals on the way there.
When I finally arrive at auradon prep three hours later I see all the students lined up at the door i slap my forehead "the new arrivals are today god damnit" auradon prep are getting transfers from the isle and from wonderland high. I run into the main foyer throwing my duffel bag with the rest of the students bags.
I stand at the front where the other students are standing hoping to get a glimpse of the new arrivals. I see Wendy the daughter of rapunzel and I stand next to her "pssst are you as excited as I am?" Wendy turns to me laughing "yes SO excited I hope there's a hot girl coming" I roll my eyes "real i want to meet my soulmate so bad I hope one is from wonderland" I look at my wrist where there's 2 lines both red one with black as well "my favourite story is the white rabbit or mad hatter could you imagine if it was one of them oh my days I would literally pass out" she laughs and puts a hand on my shoulder. "GIRL breathe please no need to go feral for a person." I scoff "I am calm you just don't have adhd you don't understand the struggle of not talking like this 24/7" she rolls her eyes at me "yah okay" i wonder which group of people is gonna show up, im not nervous as none of the isle kids are hurting my father or my story at all. "Does mother gothel have any kids? Do you think he or she's gonna be coming to auradon and are you nervous?" I ask her genuinely concerned for her and her parents reading her story was horrible. "I don't know but I heard it was only 5 kids invited to auradon so my chances are slim, but your lucky as hell you don't even have a villain to worry about coming after you guys." I nod "yah i can recognize how lucky I am with that".
We rehearse a song that the fairy godmother requests we all learned last year until we see a checkerboard limo pull up. "EEEEEEKKK I'm gonna actually piss my pants wendy im so excited" she looks at me in horror "girl I swear to god if you do not stop saying shit like that your soulmate will be more disgusted then I am at this point" I laugh and shrug "bruh if he can't handle me at my I'll piss my pants in excitement then he doesn't deserve me at all." She laughs and shakes her head.
The limo stops right in front of us as we wait for the doors to open I grab Wendy's hand in excitement knowing it feels as though something important is going to come out of that limo. The limo shakes for a bit as the door opens and out walks a man with a big red hat covering his eyes. When I look at him the red bar on my wrist starts to itch and I gasp in shock trying to hide that it was me as he looks around looking for his soulmate. I look at the other arrivals trying to make it seem like it wasn't me that he was mated to, he's pretty but I'm scared of being in a relationship even if it is with my soulmate. He looks around for the person who gasped I avoid his eyes as he moves closer.
