I started this during May of 2024, and it's still a work in progress. I started this for an English project, and at first, it was just loosely based on Sandra Cisneros' The House on Mango Street.
That book had such a heavy impact on me, and for our final project, we could use any medium and create something that relates to the book.
I chose to write my own versions of some of her vignettes that I related to most. Those being My Name and Papa who wakes up tired in the dark. I chose these vignettes because I related to them the most.
Then my English teacher had mentioned that I should write more, so I did. My book is over 20 pages and still going so even though it's still a work in progress I want to test the waters.
