02|𝙂𝙤𝙗𝙡𝙚𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙚

Lilah stood finishing off the packing before she returned to school. Lilah knew that she felt as if something dodgy was going on and she knew that she couldn't explain it. All that she knew was that she was shaken over what had happened at the World Cup and she knew that something dodgy had happened there and she knew that she just wanted to go back to school where it was safe

"Hey you oaky" Sirius asked as he appeared in the doorway as lilah looked to him and smiled

"I'm okay dad you don't need to worry over me" she said as he looked to her and smiled

"Your my daughter of course I will sorry and I know what happened the World Cup your mum was worried and so will I. I don't know what we'd do if something happened to you" Sirius said as lilah looked to him and smiled

"I'm okay dad I know how you missed out in a lot with me and I know that you worry but you don't need to. I am here and it's all going to be okay" lilah said as Sirius walked over to her and smiled

"I know how you are all grown up now and how it is not easy but I am here now and in your dad and I will look after you and I know what happened and how it shook you up but everything will be okay. I am your dad and it's my job to look after you" he said as she looked to him and smiled as she hugged him

"I love you dad"

"I love you too kiddo. Are you all packed your going to miss the train" he said as she nodded. She knew that with things heading back to Hogwarts seemed like the only normal thing in her life

Lilah got back to Hogwarts as she sat at the gryffindor table "hey lils are you okay?" Fred asked as she looked to him and smiled. She knew how things had been since the world cup, she sat looking at Lia as she sat with snape and frowned

"My mum is being friendly with snape it's weird" lilah said as Fred chuckled

"Yeah anyone who is friendly with snape is weird. Are you okay from the quidditch cup I know it was a scary experience" Fred asked as lilah looked to him and smiled

"Yeah it was" she said as dumbledore took up front

"Good evening. This year will be different as it will not only be your home but it will be home too two other schools as Hogwarts hosts the triwizard tournament" he said as he pulled off a cover and revealed a cup. As the whispers started to happen lilah glanced around as she made eye contact with her cousin Draco malfoy and shrugged to him

"Yes..yes it is all very exciting.  From each school a single contestant is selected to compete. Now let me be clear, if choosen you stand
    alone. And trust me when I say these  contests are not for the faint hearted, but more of that later. For now please join me in welcoming the lovely ladies of the Beauxbatons Academy of magic and their headmistress Madam Maxime." Dumbledore said as A group of girls dressed in blue dance up the aisle and release butterflies into the air. They bow and everyone applauds.

        "And now our friends from the north, please greet the proud sons of Durmstrang and the high master Igor Karkaroff." Dumbledore said As A series of older boys walk up the aisle brandishing bo staffs, twirling them around and periodically stabbing them into the ground with a spark effect.

"Blimey it's him, Viktor Krum!"  Ron said as lilah rolled her eyes at him as The boys breathe some fire.

"Your attention please! I would like to say a few words. Eternal glory, that is what awaits the student who wins the tri-wizard tournament. But to do this that student must survive three tasks. Three extremely dangerous tasks."

"Wicked" Fred said as lilah kicked him from under the table

"For this reason the ministry has seen fit to impose a new rule. To explain all this we have the head of the department of international magic cooperation Mister Bartimus Crouch." Dumbledore said

       Thunder roars overhead, rain begins leaking through the room and screams break out. A strange man stands in the doorway, he casts some magic upwards and seals the roof. Peace is restored.

               "Bloody hell, it's Mad-Eye Moody." Ron said

             "Alastor Moody? The Auror" Hermione asked

"He was a catcher. Half the cells in Azkaban are full thanks to supposed to be mad as a hatter though these days."

  "After much deliberation the ministry has concluded that for their own safety no student under the age of seventeen shall be allowed to put forth their name for the tri-wizard tournament.This decision is final."

           The crowd is unsettled, people are booing.
                                   
             "That's rubbish! You don't know what you're doing!"

"Silence!" Dumbledore yelled into the crowd. Dumbledore casts magic over a box which melds into a goblet containing a blue flame.

"The goblet of fire. Anyone wishing to submit themselves for the tournament merely write their name upon a piece of parchment and throw it in the flame before this hour on Thursday night. Do not do so lightly, if choosen there's no turning back. As from this moment the tri-wizard tournament has begun." Dumbledore said as lilah shock her head at the thought of things

Lilah walked down the hall as she saw Lia "I hope that you aren't even attempting to put your name in this"

"You have so much faith in me mother" lilah said as Lia looked to her and smiled

"I know you. You are your fathers daughter"

"Hmm you were looking very close with professor snape"

"I am allowed to be friends with him besides he's not as bad as he seems" Lia said as lilah raised an eyebrow at her and nodded

Lilah had no idea how things were going to change in her life and how nothing would be the same again
