Rachel's POV

God what did I just do? I was just trying to do the right thing. I never wanted to hurt her. My parents and I were the only ones who talked to him anymore. When she left the room I got up to run after her.

"Just let her go" I heard my mom say.

"Why? I just ruined everything."

"She needs space. She'll come around." my dad said.

I went back up to my room and started to clean up with this whole thing on my mind.

Jennifer's POV

I hate him even more.

I hate him.

I started to make a list of the reasons why in my head:
•he left
•never told me he was leaving
•never answered me
•kept in contact with Rachel

I was probably out walking for about an hour. I took out my phone and looked at the time. 1:47am. I guess I should try and call my mom and have her pick me up.

"Hey this is maria please leave a message and I'll get back to you as soon as possible bye"

Ugh. I have no where to go now. There's no way I'm going back to Rachel's. I can't believe she keep this from me. She's my best friend, she's supposed to tell me everything.

I realized I had my keys with me and got kind of happy that I could go home.

I walked up to the porch and unlocked the door. I tried to be as quiet as possible so I wouldn't wake up my mom. As I started to walk up the stairs I heard someone in the kitchen.

"Mom?"

"Oh my god to scared the hell outta me" she said while catching her breath again.

"Sorry"

"Honey, why are you crying?" I didn't even realize I was crying until now.

"I'll explain in the morning. I'm going to bed. Goodnight."

"Wait, I though you were staying at Rachel's?"

"Like I said, I'll explain in the morning"

"Okay, goodnight sweetheart"
