I groaned when I felt someone tapping my cheek. I slowly opened my eyes just to see Justine's face. Worry flash on his face the moment he saw me.
"Ja.." I whispered his name.
Suddenly I remembered what happened. Napaupo ako bigla at napatingin sa paligid. I'm inside an unfamiliar room. It's a bedroom. It looks like I'm inside the hotel. I looked around and there's a hude window. Kita ko mula rito ang BGC.
"Where am I?" I asked him.
He sighed and stood up from sitting on the side of the bed. He massage his temple and sighed again.
"You're safe. Don't worry,"
"Nasaan ba ako!?" I repeated, my voice rising with frustration.
"Nasa Ayala land condominium ninyo tayo. Wala makakasakit dito sa'yo." he explained.
Umiling iling ako dahil I feel something strange. Umalis ako sa kama at suot parin ang damit ko. Thankfully.
"How long I'm in sleep? anong nangyare? pano tayo napunta dito?"
Kasi it's weird. I thought they will bring me to a place where their hide out is. Pero dito ako dinala. And maybe I should be thankful for that. Walang nangyari masama.
"Ja..." I called him again, needing more answers.
Mukhang wala siya sa sarili. He seems lost. Tumingin siya sakin pero agad rin na umiwas ng tingin. He sat down on the bed and stared at his hand on his lap.
"I'm sorry...."
"Why you're sorry?" I asked, walking towards him.
I stopped right in front of him, gently lifting his chin so he would look at me. He avoided my gaze, and I could see the turmoil in his eyes.
"What's going on?" I asked, my voice trembling with nerves.
