Chapter 3

[Y/n's pov]

"sooo where are we going?" asked curious my friend

"oh we were actually thinking of going to that abandoned amusement park"

"abandoned? did I hear it right?" I immediately asked perplexed.

In my world such thing as abandoned didn't exist and to be frank I was pretty scared by just hearing the word.

"yeah it's one of the coolest places ever and the vibes are just immaculate" answered Kai.

It still wasn't comforting and my friend's face wasn't either.

"is it that bad?" I whisperd to her

"I mean, for you it could be that bad"

My face darkened even more and I wasn't so sure I wanted to hang out with them anymore.

"Come on y/n don't tell me you're a scaredy cat" joked Soobin

"and what if I am?" I asked trying to test the waters

"Then you don't belong with us" answered with a cold tone Beomgyu.

Ouch.

Why was he being so rude for?

I was definitely not a devil and things like that were new for me.

I looked at him for a while, but then decided he didn't deserve my attention.

After what felt like eternity to me, but was merely 15 minutes, we arrived at the so infamous abandoned amusement park.

"Here we are! don't you think it's amazing?" asked Taehyun

"Like a dream come true" I answered with the most sarcastic tone ever and a smile that was in no way happy.

My friend elbowed me and whispered me to keep calm and that everything will be alright.

Would strange monsters be here?

This is the devils' world, as much as I come here everyday, I don't really know anything about it.

Am I putting myself in danger?

All sorts of questions started spinning in my head as we made our way in.

Differently from what I had thought it didn't seem that bad at all.

There were the old rides here and there and a creepy atmosphere I have to say, but nothing more than that.

"I think it would be more fun if we split up and meet here again in 10 minutes" Yeonjun suggested

"yeah what a great idea!" shouted Taehyun.

Everyone seemed on board with this idea except me. I was actually terrorized.

Being there with them was one thing, but roaming around by myself as an angel was completely another one.

"hey y/n are you okay with this?" my friend asked

As I was about to answer I heard Beomgyu say with a straight face

"she was lucky enough to hang out with us, the minimum she can do is keep up"

I was once again hurt but determined to prove him wrong.

"I can 100% keep up with you guys, in fact I accept Yeonjun's suggestion" I said trying to sound as convincing as possible

"Then it's on guys, see you in 10 minutes!" shouted Soobin as he was already flying further away.

I was the last one standing there while everyone had already gone in a different direction.

I could have waited for them here, but I decided that I was braver than this.

As I started roaming around nothing in particular was cathing my attention.

Not untill, as I was turning right, a strange creature, or better said monster, appeared in front of my gaze.

I was petrified and the only thing I did, as I saw it approaching me, was screaming.

I screamed but my voice wasn't coming out as much as I wanted, it felt like one of the worst nightmares.

I turned around and started flying in the opposite direction without turning back.

As I was flying careless, with the only intention ti escape, I bumped into someone.

"hey look where you're going stupid!" half screamed Beomgyu.

Even if he called me stupid I was honestly relieved to see that it was him.

I was so scared that I couldn't even put words together.

"you're speechless? wow! I really am that handsome" he said with a mischievous smile

"no-n-no you don't understand I was strolling around and suddenly a monster was in front of me" I said trying to calm down and come to my senses

"oh so that ugly scream was yours?"

"I wouldn't say ugly, a monster was literally face to face with me" I tried to sound reasoning

"please you're such a useless angel" he began annoyed "you should just go back to your angelic shitty world"

"woah woah there! I don't why you're being so rude with me as I've done nothing to you but being nice" I said in an angry tone

"whatever, time's up I'm going back to the meeting point"

And with that he was already gone, leaving me behind.

He could have at least waited for me.

And why was he being so rude with me? Did he hate me?

I literally didn't even speak with him what was wrong with him?

When everyone was back to the meeting point I couldn't wait anymore and I just wanted to go home.

"hey Julie I don't feel that great I'd like to go home" I whispered to my friend

"oh yeah don't worry, we say goodbye to them and then we can go"

"I'm really not feeling good, you can say goodbye while I go ahead" I said in a sad tone.

What a disappointment that Beomgyu was.
