Prologue
A long time ago, in a foreign land, far away from everything we know, there stood a magnificent house.
A father, a mother, and their one-year-old son lived in this house. While the husband and son were not particularly conspicuous, the little boy was even unsightly, the mother was the most beautiful woman in town.
And she was expecting her second child.
But unfortunately, it did not come as desired. The father wanted a second son, but the woman gave birth to a girl more beautiful than the mother had ever been. Delicate as a flower. Cute as a mouse. His wife lost consciousness after giving birth. She never woke up again.
The little boy didn't understand why his mother was gone. He also didn't understand why his father ignored him. He didn't understand why he wasn't hugged anymore now that there was a tiny girl in the house instead of his mother. He screamed every day, tore at his father's clothes, he hit him so that the father went to get help. But this time it didn't go as planned either. He lost both children.
The son was questioned, and although he could hardly speak, it was found that the father wasn't a good man. The statements of the neighbors, even if they had heard little, confirmed this.
A foster family was quickly found for the adorable girl, but no one wanted the boy. Fat, loud, and brutal. He would probably be like his father later. A drinker and a good-for-nothing. That's how people described him. The child's appearance also met with no approval. So the child was sent to a children's home.
People admired the girl's beauty.
The little boy was forgotten.
