At the hospital, Trina looks through her and the babies bag.
"Alright, so I got 2 pillows, 3 blankets, a bathrobe, socks, slippers, towels, a breast pad, a breast pump, a charger, hair scrunchies, and 3 outfits for the baby", Trina says.
"Three", Andrew asks, "We're only taking home one baby".
"And we have to be prepared", Trina says.
"We are prepared, now go lay down, you should be resting", Andrew says.
"I'll rest when the baby comes", Trina replies.
"That's when you won't rest, good thing Audrey is in school right now or you would be dealing with two kids", Andrew says.
"I've delivered a baby before, I know what I should be doing", Trina says.
"So why aren't you in the bed", Andrew says under his breath.
"What was that?", Trina asks.
"I said mother knows best Rapunzel", Andrew says.
"Well mine isn't here, her and my dad are trapped in Peru because their plane got grounded. So they won't be here", Trina says.
"Are they ever here?", Andrew asks.
"No but that's not really something I want to get into, maybe in the next book", Trina says.
"Well I'm here", Andrew says walking up and holding Trina's hand.
"Good, now be here for me and go out to the car and get the car seat", Trina says.
"If you promise me, you'll lay down", Andrew says.
"Fine", Trina says taking a deep breath.
Andrew smiles and leaves the room to go get the car seat. As he is walking out the doctor is walking in.
"I'm back Ms. Vega, how do you feel?", The doctor says.
"I feel fine, Dr. Braxton", Trina says.
"Well let me check you out", Dr. Braxton says.
Trina lays down on the bed. The doctor walks over and examines her.
"Well looky here, you're about 6-7 cm dilated, you're almost ready to have this baby", Dr. Braxton says.
"Really, you sure that's correct, because I'm not feeling any pain", Trina says fast.
"Then that's a good thing, hopefully it means you'll have a smooth delivery", Dr. Braxton says.
"But no time soon right", Trina says.
"Who's to say, but why are you trying to wait?", Dr. Braxton asks.
"Because my sister isn't here and I need her to give birth", Trina says.
"You need me to give birth, but I understand what you're saying, however this baby isn't gonna wait to come, when it's ready, it's showtime", Dr. Braxton says.
"I know", Trina says.
Dr. Braxton leaves the room.
After a long trip to the parking lot, Andrew comes back carrying the car seat through the lobby. He gets on the elevator with a pregnant woman.
"First child?", Andrew asks.
"Yes, can you tell, what gave it away me not being here with anybody", The lady says.
"No, I was just curious because you seemed so independent like you know exactly what's going on", Andrew says.
"I do, a mother knows how to care for her child, and if she doesn't she will soon learn", The lady says.
