Shawn Mendes contest imagine

Shawn's POV-

I shivered as I walked down the dimly lit hallway. Hospitals are so creepy. Ex especially at night. BAM! I jump and let out a yelp of fright.

"What was that I whisper to myself?" I bite my lip as I try to swallow the lump in my throat. ''Why am I here?" I thought to myself. I see a shadow quickly move.

I spin around on my heel of my foot to see what it was, but nothing was there. I felt stinging tears in my eyes as I hear screams of someone being tortured. I let out a whimper that I had been holding in.

The sounds of fingernails going across a window are heard in theses empty halls. I hear the sound of little kids laughing. "Wanna play?!" a high pitch voice asks. I constantly look left and right. As my pace quickens.

I hear a low chuckle. I let out a loud cry as I hear it. My heart race was quickening by the minute. As if it was going to come flying out of my chest. As I was about to sprint off for a set of doors.

I hear the sound of my name "Shawn? Shawn? SHAWN?!" I shot up in my bed to see a very concerned looking Y/n. "Baby are you okay?" She asks frantically. I shake my head no as I burst out in tears.

Admittedly she brings me into her arms as she softly whispers nothing but sweet things in my ear. As her fingertips slowly run up and down my arms. She knows it calms me down. I pull back slowly as Y/n asks the same question

"What happen?" she asks as her hand cups my cheeks. As she softly uses the pad of her thumb to wipe away a tear. "I-I had a *hiccup* bad dream." I whimper.

"Oh, baby come on...'' I watch her say as she lays down and pats the spot next to her. I slowly lay down as I snuggle up to her. I wrap my arms her waist my head is buried into her chest.

She softly sings sweater weather. Her voice slowly calms me down. My heart rate beats slowly as my eyes get droopy. I let out a soft sigh as she lets out a giggle. As before I fall asleep I hear " I love you, Shawn."
