Cameron's Pov-

I was in my apartment with the Dolan twins watching a movie when my phone rang. I sighed before excusing myself and picked up the phone. "Hello, it's me." The voice stated. "Y/n is that you?" I ask. "I was wondering if after all these years you'd like to meet." She asked in a quiet voice.

"To do what?" I replied confused. "To go over everything." She says as her voice cracked. "Y/n I don't know if we should," I state honestly. " They say that time's supposed to heal ya, but I ain't done much healing." I could tell she was heartbroken. I stayed silent.

"Hello, can you hear me?" She asked thinking I hung up. "Yea I can hear you," I state as I thought over everything.  "I'm in California dreaming about who we used to be." I felt tears in my eyes as I could hear her move around. "Y/n that's in the past." I heard the guys look at me and I sniffled.  "When we were younger and free, I've forgotten how it felt before the world fell at our feet.." She says as she starts to cry.

I stomped my foot on the ground as I let out a frustrated groan.  "There's such a difference between us and a million miles." She says. "An that's why we can't see each other. " I say. I heard the guys mumble. "Hello from the other side, I must have called a thousand times, to tell you I'm sorry for everything that I've done, but when I call you, never seem to be home." Her voice cracks harshly as she sobs. "Sshh Y/n dry your tears, I'm never home because I'm always on set or meeting fans."

There was quietness. "Hello?" I ask seeing if she was still there. " Hello from the outside, at least I can say that I've tried, to tell you I'm sorry for breaking your heart, but it doesn't matter, it clearly doesn't tear you apart anymore." I took a deep breath. She doesn't know how I feel. " Hello, how are you? It's so typical of me to talk about myself I'm sorry. I hope that you're well, did you ever make it out of that town where nothing ever happened?" She asks. "Yea I did, I'm in La now," I state slowly smiling.

"It's no secret that the both of us are running out of time." She says as she sighs quietly. "What do you mean by that Y/n?"  "So hello from the other side. I must have called a thousand times. To tell you I'm sorry for everything that I've done, But when I call you never seem to be home. Hello from the outside. At least I can say that I've tried. To tell you I'm sorry for breaking your heart, But it doesn't matter it clearly doesn't tear you apart anymore." I started to cry and the guys got up and started to leave the room.

"Y/n please, I'm broken still, I've never healed, come home,"  I say as I sob violently. "I've run out of time..." She says quietly. She hung, she gone, forever...
