Beautiful like the Ocean, Dangerous like the Water

The end

 You are all inside.

The place is.... Quite relaxing. There is Primordial Seawater everywhere but somehow, you can walk on it, the sky above you is purple with pink, and what looks like stars.

For now, none of you see the Narwhal, you all know it's hiding, that beast probably know that you're here and is waiting for a good opportunity to strike. You look everywhere, until you notice that the beast is... under your feet, before disappearing deeper in the water.

You and all walks carefully, while Paimon turns her head to asks a question to Neuvillette, with a bit of worry in her voice.

"Wait, we are going to 'execute' it...? But how are we going to do that ? It's huge !"

"I have already done my best to separate the power of the Primordial Sea from the Whale, but considering the size of the beast, I cannot reach the power's source... Unless..."

He thinks for a second before continue his sentence.

"We can find a way to attack if from within. I shall share a part of the ancient dragon's power with you. We shall look for an opening together. I can feel its sorrow turns into hostility."

You just realize what he just told you to do, Paimon react quicker than you.

"So they are going to be...eaten ?"

"I admit it's not the solution I was hoping for, but I don't see any other, and I wouldn't suggest this if I knew it could be deadly for them."

"I hope you know what you're doing..."

You told him, worried about what is going to happen, he can sense your stress and place one of his hands on your cheek giving it a gentle caress.

"As I told you, I can't guarantee your safety, I will give you my protection, but if something bad happen inside, I won't be able to help... I will do my best, also, being... eaten, won't be dangerous. But it's not your mission either, you wanted to find Mister Childe."

"And I still want to, I just think that I have to be ready, in case I need to follow Aether inside."

"Let's hope you won't need to."

You nod, and honestly, you have a bad feeling about this... Neuvillette releases your cheek with a little smile, before looking back at everyone.

"The All-Devouring Narwhal cannot resist its instinct to 'devour'. We must trigger its hostility, a chance will present itself."

"Are you going to be eaten too ?" You asks.

"No, I must stay outside, I won't fight either except if it's absolutely needed, I have to stay focus on the Narwhal from the outside."

"It's... going to be a strange experience."

"You will be fine, the nightmare will soon be over."

You nod, even if you trust him, it's hard to relax with a plan like this, knowing that your friends, and possibly you, will be....

You shake your head and try to not think about it, fighting the whale is not your priority, you have someone to save.

As you all walk, you look everywhere, but all you can see is the water, there is... no one, no traces of Childe, just an endless view of Primordial Seawater. It's not too long after that you all hear a distant sound, like a whale...

"It's coming."

Aether warns everyone, you summon your weapons and get ready to defend yourself, if you can't find Childe, then you won't have any other choices than trying- no, you can't try, you have to help them.
