Stuck At Home

I wasn’t a normal kid… but I wanted to be one more than anything. I was shun out at a young age… Yes, I wasn’t allowed to live a normal life because of something I said when I was 8. I was still a troublemaker, of course I always have been.

“This kid, I swear to God! Phoenix! Go deal with your kid!” A commissioner yelled out.
“My what? Oh, do you mean Vinnee?” Phoenix replied.
“Yes!”

There was a knock at my door, so I went to get it. It was Phoenix. They probably knew that I wanted to ask a question, because that’s all I did when I did something small like illegally making fireworks.

“What do you want now?” Phoenix asked me.
“I want to go to school.” I asked.
Phoenix looked at me with confusion, I wouldn’t blame them, what kind of 11-year-old would ask to go to school?

“Is he at the execution age yet?”
“No ma’am he’s 11.”
That’s right the commissioner’s wanted to publicly execute me. And what makes it worse is the fact that she made the legal execution age 15. Not for everyone just for the shun people. Yes. Meaning me. Meaning that in 3 years I could be executed. Why though?

Star Rose the “Almighty Hero”. I called her overrated when I was 8. Eight years of age. That’s why I was shun, that’s why I am isolated, that’s why I can’t live a normal life, that’s why I have to beg if I want to go to school, that’s why I hate her.

“Please! I know it’s a weird request, but I want to just be a normal kid.” I pleaded to Phoenix.
“I understand I’ll talk to the commission.”
I was very glad that phoenix would try to try, but I also knew it most likely wouldn’t work. Your probably thinking “isn’t that a human rights violation?” and yes, it is. Thing is to them I’m not human. To them I’m some sort of demon. I hate existing.

“Huh you came back quickly. What did the brat want?”
“He’s not a brat. But he made a request. He wants to go to school.”
The commissioner turned to face Phoenix.
“What?”
“They want to go to school.” Phoenix repeated.
“I heard you but, you really believe that? I mean what kind of preteen WANTS to go to school?”
“I do believe that’s what he wants, and I understand why you choose not to believe me, but he said that he wants a chance to be normal.”
The commissioner looked at phoenix again and laughed. She obviously knew why I would want to be normal, but she didn’t want me to even be living so why would she give me a chance at that.

“Phoenix, you can’t trust him he’s mental, insane maybe we should assign someone else to him he’s clearly manipulating you.” The commissioner stated.

“Hello? Oh of course; yes, we can do that.”
That phone convo will be important later…

(Insert very good singing) casually spinning around while singing is my fav thing to do… because I don’t have much to do. “I’m a barbie girl! In a barbie world!” and then someone knocked on my door… talk about embarrassing.

“Vin where you just singing barbie girl?”
“Why is that your first question!?”
The person at my door was Phoenix. They were probably back with my answer.
“I managed to convince her, so you’ll be going to school tomorrow.”
After saying that phoenix left. That random encounter did not stop me from singing though.
