TUESDAY 5:40pm"SO WHAT YOU THINKING?" Jay, DD's older brother questioned turning his mobile device off and placing it face down on his lap.
Right now Dd and Jay were discussing DD's current dilemma with Dallas and how it could probably go.There were two outcomes, if God was on DD's side Dallas would agree to give him a chance and he would have to mature up to meet her standards. It wasn't just the fact that Dallas was gorgeous but the fact that she knew what she wanted and that attracted Dd.
She was grown and acted her age, she knew her likes and dislikes, she new her top priorities and how to handle business, she managed to improve DD's condition after the loss of his brother and bring the bright joyful boy back.
But it was because Dallas knew that he was famous and didn't use the information she had on him against him, she told him straight up when he was wrong, she told him what's wrong mentally with him and helped him fix it.
Dallas was like his guardian angel, she was there when he almost committed suicide and was there from that point forward. She never judge or redivided him for his flaws, instead she listened and offered her input when needed.
She was patient and took her time with him, she talked him through his troubles and misfortunes. And in reality Dallas connected him to Notti in ways he didn't know were possible, even if he wasn't here with them Dd felt Notti's presence every time he touched that journal and that relief and peace he felt just from the book was all cause of Dallas.
So yes, Dd was willing to change all his flaws just to make Dallas happy cause she was able to bring him out of the dark hole he was swallowed in without a way out. The pain he was feeling while being trapped in was horrible, the guilt he felt was like knives stabbing him constantly.
He had only one outlet and that was music, music was the only thing keeping him sane and now he had another outlet Dallas.
The situation could also come out horribly, he could scare her away and get reassigned and never utter a word to Dallas again.
She could find him weird and think he was pushing himself on her, or she could think that just by them having sex he was tied to her emotionally and would depend on her for everything cause he was mentally unstable.
Which in her defense isn't far from the truth but wasn't the truth at the same time.
Although the outcome Dd just needed Dallas in his life platonically, professionally, or romantically.
"I'm hoping she see that I'm the one" Dd mumbled tiredly pressing the side of his head on his fist, his arm resting on the arm of the chair.
"I think she will bro" Jay reassured reaching over and fist bumping the boy, "ion even wanna think about that cause I know imma get stressed so how you?" Dd questioned.
Since Notti died Dd found himself confining in Jay more, he became closer to Jay and even though they had a strong brotherly bond their relationship sparked having to go through the grief of their little brother.
"I'm chilling I met this girl ha name Sydney" Jay smiled thinking about the beautiful girl he'd met at the bowling alley, "ooo I see you getting out there again?" Dd teased cheesing showing his grills.
"Mann ian gon hold you I might have to cuff ha she just-she a lot of good" Jay stuttered trying to find the right words, "nigga inlove" dd mumbled playfully shaking his curly head. "But imma holla at you later Jay love you" Dd departed going to hug his brother.
Dd walked out the apartment going to the guest parking and sliding into his white Mercades 2024, Dd drove around the streets of NewYork taking in the atmosphere of the beautiful city.
The light aligning the sidewalk shimmered in the setting sun and the sounds of the cars honking and city noise invaded Dd's ears.
His peace and silence was interrupted by his phone ringing, the call connected to his car and Dallas's name popped up shocking the man.
Dd quickly answered pressing the green button with his slim pointer finger and waited for the call to connect.
Fear and anticipation coursed through him, at this moment his relationship with Dallas was on the line either evolving or descending to complete nothingness in the ibis, Dd shivered slightly feeling overwhelmingly cold.
He licked his dry lips trying to find some way to clam his nerves, silence took over the car and all the loud noises that once traveled across David's ears suddenly came to a halt.
This moment could either crush him or give him to joy he needed, David bit the inside of his lip waiting patiently feeling like time itself was moving slowly.
The call finally connected and Dallas's voice seared through the car, "David? Hello?" She said capturing the boy. Her voice was so angelic, she was so soft spoken and seemed calm in the most tragic and life threatening situations.
Dd could listen to her voice for days on end and not feeling a tad bit of boredom.
"Wassup" he rasped, Dallas sighed over the line ready to give her next statement not knowing if it was the right decision. Either way there was no going back after the words were spoken.
"I didn't want to keep you waiting cause we grown as fuck and that's childish, so I decided that I am going to give you a chance" Dd smiled brightly feeling the fear that once ran through his body like a marathon leave and he replaced with utter joy and jubilation.
"You for real?" Dd cheesed trying to hide the joy that was laced in his voice, "mhm" Dallas hummed the sides of her lips twitching up. "Ight imma be over there in a min" Dd announced.
"Oh-uhm-no not right now Dd I'll come over tomorrow though after our session" Dallas denied quickly coming up with an alternative motive.
"But I wanna see you now" Dd whined holding his head back, "I know Dd but you'll just have to wait ok?" Dd groaned but agreed to her terms licking his lips.
"Ight imma have something for us ma, but imma go and take a shower Ight" Dd announced hovering his finger over the end button.
"Alright I'll see you."
