📍NEWYORK CITY FRIDAY , 2:45
"WASSUP DALLAS" Duke entered the apartment announcing his presence, "hey baby you didn't come yesterday you good?" Dallas question turning her head to face the man at her front door.
Duke walked up to the couch taking a seat next to the Carmel skinned girl, he let his eyes trace over her gleamful face. Duke furrowed his eyebrows seeing that she didn't show any signs of worry, fear, or guilt.
"You ok baby?" Dallas questioned again putting her hand on his, Duke looked down at her hand on top of his and lowly chuckled to himself.
"Nah mamma I'm good" he plastered a fake smile over his face before he leaned in placing a small kiss on her lips, "alright well mani sleeping and I'm changing DD's session days" she informed going back to her work.
"Mhm so he's doing better or worse?" Duke questioned slouching into the comfy white couch, "he's doing amazing actually" Dallas gleamed knowing the full reason behind DD's performance was because of her.
At first she thought being in a romantic relationship with a mentally unstable patient would be difficult but the joy Dallas experienced knowing she was DD's safe place put all the worry to rest.
"That's good for him, he went through a lot" Duke spoke, Dallas nodded in agreement finally emailing Dd about the changes in his schedule. His new days were now just Tuesday and Thursday.
Dallas closed her laptop placing it on the side of her, she swang her long legs over Duke's lap resting them while putting her attention on the tv. Duke looked over again at the girl seeing her laugh and giggle at the channel not paying any attention.
He wondered if he deserved this in a way, for all the pain he put her through but he'd changed so why was she punishing him when he showed her he was all in now, that he grew.
