TUESDAY 2:30pmDD HADN'T SEEN Dallas since that night at her apartment, he felt so stupid thinking that he was finally happy. He didn't deserve happiness and he was foolish to think he got it.
He should've knew it was too good to be true, he should've knew the second he found himself enjoying life it would stripped away from him in a blink of an eye.
The questions floating around DD's mind never stopped, he spent all day locked in his apartment wondering why Dallas of all people would do such a thing.
She knew all his secrets, his thoughts, his trauma. She knew he was fragile under the fake facade he'd put up, but maybe that was the problem.
Maybe she didn't want someone who was soft on the inside, maybe she wanted someone that was really hardcore inside and out. Like Duke.
Or maybe he wasn't giving her all she needed, maybe he was coming in too hard? Maybe this, maybe that, all these possibilities but they all ended up with the same conclusion.
Dallas didn't love him, and she never would.
Dd twisted the door knob opening the tall white wooden door entering the small four walled room, in his time of moping he forgot he had therapy with Dallas.
He'd plan to skip all his session or just draw out of therapy all together but his mother refused to let him, she understood he was heart broken but she still knew Dallas would put on her professional front and help her son.
Dallas's head perked up and shock rode across it seeing the familiar tall curly headed boy, she was in disbelief she hadn't think he would show up.
"Oh-uhm hello David" she spoke in a nervous like voice crossing her lengthy leg over the other and folding her hands, Dd scoffed quietly going to his designated spot on the couch.
"So how are you?" She asked quickly shaking her head, "I mean-nah I'm cool" Dd cut her off started to slouch in the seat. "That's great, so let's pick back up where we left off" she spoke opening her notebook.
"Have you been writing or reading?" She questioned, Dd nodded not giving her a verbal answer. Dallas pouted knowing by now Dd would be rambling about how his week was and especially the parts where he'd seen Dallas.
"Ok, how's family?" Dallas questioned.
DD's jaw clenched looking at the girl, he was positive he could do this—that he could ignore their differences and just focus on his mental.
But the feelings—the urges he had for Dallas wouldn't dare be ignored, shaking his head he stood up quickly collecting himself.
Dallas's eyes trailed up to his seeing the anger dancing around his brown orbs.
"Imma get reassigned Dallas" he muttered, Dallas's lips parted in shock as she quickly bolted up. "But-Mcht don't sit here and act like what happened didn't bro" he spat finally speaking more than a few words to her.
"Don't sit here and act like you wasn't going around being the lil hoe you are and in the process you broke my fucking heart! God Dallas how sick are you? You play with me over and over again and expect for shit to be normal!" He exclaimed.
"You sit here and act like you got all this shit figured out but you're a fucking mess bro! You're a damn liar, a treesh, and a good for nothing bitch!" Dallas folded her arms letting her head hang low not having the strength to look at him.
"Ian doing this shit" he muttered digging in his backpack and bringing out the brown book, "ion think ill ever be mentally stable again but atleast then Ian have to worry about lying hoes like you popping into my life" Dd threw the book at her feet making his final exit.
Dallas bent down picking up the book and holding it in her arms, she let tears slip down her face as she silently cried in the empty room.
She'd lost something so good and hadn't realized it until now, and it was too late.

Flipping through the pages of DD's book she read over the lines containing her, Dd had poured his heart out in these pages. How much he loved her, how she'd help him, how she was his safe space.
She read over his deepest secrets and the burdens he carried with him everyday, she found herself comparing them to Notti's burdens and griefs.
The thought of the young boy made her smile, she really did miss him.
Then she thought about Dd and how he was really missing him, how he was the whole reason Dd was seeing her in the first place. That's when she came upon a page nearly torn out.
She aligned the page with book reading over it quickly, there her name was in the beautiful handwriting.
I feel closer to Notti through Dallas.
Her heart dropped at the realization, she'd hurt Dd more than she could've thought. Dallas was his way to feel connected to his brother on a deeper level.
Dallas had gotten to know the dark side of Notti that he'd always hide away and shut out, Dd had found the part of his brother he didn't even know existed and it was through Dallas.
Now he lost that connect, forever.
