"Woe be upon us! The time for the necessary evil has come."
"Aish Innie, stop being so dramatic," Seungmin giggled
"Yeah, sorry....no but seriously, I wish we could somehow not go for that interview."
" I know Innie, even I don't feel like going back there. The last time had been awful.
Having a comeback just around the corner, Stray Kids had to go for an interview for their promotion, but the last time they had been there, the interviewer hadn't been very kind. She had made harsh comments about their looks, not being fluent in English, and even some of their voices through jokes. They had laughed it off for the duration, but it had been really hurtful. They would never have gone back there if not for their much-needed album promotion.
"I have an idea!" Jeongin suddenly piped up. "What if we get sick? They won't force us to go, right?" he said with a smirk.
"Wow, Innie, you are a genius!" Seungmin said, laughing slightly.
That's when Minho entered their room.
"Hey hyung!" Jeongin immediately sat up. He had a look on his face as if been caught."Just came to check on you guys...Don't stay awake for too long, we have a big day tomorrow."
"Yes hyung, we were about to sleep now," Seungmin replied.
"Okay, good night"
"Goodnight hyung!" they both said together.
What they didn't know was that Minho had heard their entire conversation before entering.
"Hey Innie...""Yeah?"
"Jokes aside, you know that this interview is actually very important for us, right?"
"Of course hyung, it is a part of work and we will get through it together, as always," he smiled.
"Great, I'm sure we will do well. Let's get some sleep for now," he said, ruffling Jeongin's hair.
"Yeah, good night hyung."
"Good night, Innie."

The next day, as soon as Seungmin opened his eyes, he could feel the onset of a disaster. He had been feeling weird the day before, but he blamed it on exhaustion and thought that it would get better after sleep. Unfortunately, things never turn out your way.Sunlight spilled into the room through the blinds and he could feel his headache worsen. He groaned and turned to see that Jeongin was no longer in bed. He opened his phone to check the time, immediately wincing at the brightness. 7:12. But they were all supposed to be up by 6:30. Why didn't they wake him?
He quickly got out of bed and scrambled towards the bathroom, ignoring how dizzy he felt. He washed up and changed, but he knew he was in no condition to go out, that too for an interview. He looked into the mirror and stared at his reflection. He could not appear on TV like this. He couldn't even stand straight. That inconsiderate interviewer was sure to remark on this. He didn't want to pull the entire group down because of him.
He dragged himself out into the living room to see everyone gathered there, except Minho, who was making breakfast in the kitchen.
"Good morning, Seungmin-ah," Han chirped.
"The interview got postponed by two hours, so we let you sleep in," Felix continued, seeing the puzzled expression on Seungmin's face.
"Oh....." "Channie hyung, can I please speak with you for a moment?" he asked as he turned to face Chan. Seungmin was shocked by how raspy his voice sounded.
